Hello, I was trying to do some research about the whole Halo Reach backward comp with the Xbox One. I haven’t bought an Xbox One yet, so I want to be on the safe side BEFORE selling/trading in my Xbox 360. So I guess here are my questions.
-
When I sign into the Xbox ONE and play Halo Reach what actually transfers along with it?
-
Will my legacy thing (the highest level of difficulty I completed) will also be transferred over?
-
Will I lose any progress of rank, armor, credits, etc?
-
Do I need to take the long hours of posting my maps I created in forge into my file share, download it onto the Xbox ONE, and keep on doing it until everything is transferred over?
If anyone can help answer any/all of these questions that would be helpful.
Hey OP, hopefully these will answer your questions:
- You’ll play Reach on the X1 just like you would on the 360, everything transfers over apart from content you have stored locally on your 360. Anything like that - maps, variants, screenshots that you don’t have in your file share / xbox cloud share won’t be accessible - All your stats are stored on 343’s servers, so anything you have unlocked will remain. You can make sure to put your game saves into your cloud share just in case - Only if you weren’t playing while connected to Xbox Live. If you previous progress was all made offline, then yes you will drop back a few levels when you play online. - I think so yes, as most of the content on the 360 was stored locally. As above though, move it to your cloud share which shouldn’t take long, then it will all be accessibleLet me know if you need anything clarified further
