Hey everyone, sorry if I sound dumb but I took some screenshots of my halo spartan along side with some of my other buddies and I wanted to save them to my computer. I upload them to my file share on the game but whenever I get on my computer or phone and try to load the reach file share it won’t load my pictures, it just sits there and says it’s loading but never loads up. Also in halo waypoint my spartan has recruit armor not the armor that’s equipped? Can any one please help me or explain if I’m doing anything wrong? Thank you

Hello. I came across this thread and I have been wanting to save certain screenshots to my computer, but it looks like 343i will not fix this issue. How were you able to get these screenshots from file share?

Are you on Xbox One or 360? If you’re on Xbox One, you can get screenshots and video via the DVR (like this one I just snagged of you killing an Elite), but if you want to transfer the theater clips (where you can control the camera and whatnot) or gamemodes or maps and such, you’re out of luck. The fileshare is jacked.
Point is, if you’re on 360, just tell me what shots you need and I’ll get them for you.

I look up your fileshare in Reach on Xbox One, open the screenshot full-screen, then use the Xbox One DVR to take a screenshot of your screenshot, then upload it. It lets you take a picture or video of anything while the game is running, UI included. It’s pretty nifty. I’ve gotten a lot of screenshots for people that way. When they add Halo 3 to Xbox One I’ll be able to get my old shots.

I need to get some screenshots from Halo Reach the problem is the file share will not upload onto my file share and it is located in my local files and it will not upload at all, can you help me fix this issue?

I don’t think I can access anything in your local files. I looked up your tag and there are three there, called “KIA HILES IS HYPED”, 4 YEARS OF 0144" and “3 YEARS OF 0166”, that’s all. If you need those, I can get them for you.
I just tried to upload a screenshot to my fileshare and it wouldn’t work either, I think it might be dead. Which means this whole having a friend get it for you on Xbox One option might be dead too. Which sucks. I’ve been getting screenshots for a few friends who still play on 360.
I don’t understand why it keeps getting worse & worse. What would make it slowly deteriorate like that? It’s not like the server stopped working, just bits & pieces here & there just crap out. First theater won’t play films all the way or crashes when you to rewind or fast forward then refuses to play them ever again, then (and I think this is exclusive to the Xbox One version) THIS HAPPENS when you take a screenshot using the theater’s screenshot option rather than the XB1’s screenshot option, and now the fileshare won’t even upload.
Weird thing is, theater in Halo 3 backwards compatible works perfectly fine. I can take screenshots and upload them to the fileshare without any issues of bugs whatsoever. I suspect it has something to do with how bad Reach was when it was first made backwards compatible (it was nearly unplayable) and needed a patch to fix, but perhaps theater & fileshare issues were skipped, but that doesn’t explain why these problems are happening to people playing on the 360. The Xbox One version is merely an emulator.
So the question is, what the hell is going on with Reach’s theater & fileshare and why is Halo 3’s fine? What happened to Reach?

No I found out the problem since I don’t have Xbox One yet I’m still on 360 but i’m getting my Xbox One this week all I did was I went on reach I downloaded my account I uploaded a file to file share and it uploaded. Now when I upload from 360 it works I don’t know what I did. Can you still not access my files on here?

There is a few files I need and I was wondering if there’s a way you can send them to me. Halo Reach is just acting up so what’s new however Halo Reach is still here isn’t it? It won’t be shut down because it was put for Backwards compatibility. On here to get to my files this is what I see: “The Halo: Reach stats app is no longer available, please reference your in-game Service Record for detailed stats.” what does that mean? The game won’t be shut down, it’s just that the fileshare is broken. The only things I can get for you are screenshots that you have uploaded to your fileshare. And, upon checking, it looks like there are three new ones there, so here you go:

Are those the files you were looking for? If so, glad to see some files are uploading to the fileshare again.
I use to make screenshots for multiple Halo Pages on Facebook and etc and i cant seem to get into them and download them anymore like i could and it pains me lol i still do Halo 5 and Halo 4 but its not the same hahaha
New Response: ocho389 what I did to fix my screenshots all I did was load up to Xbox One and I uploaded them to file share and they worked for me on the Xbox One for some reason for awhile. It’s a problem on your 360 or it’s the game. My screenshots is fixed now I just don’t know how to get 20 something screenshots in my file share and I was gonna see if someone can do that for me.
