It seems like the only people that can actually use the file are ones that have Gamertags like: SnIpeZ344i8fha, Reclaim3r49390rg and etc. Just basically something that isn’t in the English dictionary.

So what this means is if you have a gametag like: ‘Sniper killer, I own you and etc.’ you not be able to use the file share at all (upload files, search for files and etc.)

Ehh? Works fine for me, The file browser for top recommended and such is broken, however search by gamertag works. I can also upload and download files.

you need an xbox live gold membership to use fileshare, the free trial does not count, you have to actually buy it.

That’s because you don’t have any spaces in your gamertag. If you had the gamertag ‘Big Flying Hammer’, I would be willing to bet that you wouldn’t be able to use the file share. I have gold and I’ve been able to upload to the Halo 3 and Halo: Reach file shares, genius.

Might be, I’m not sure and I can’t try it because I don’t have an username with spaces… Or I would have unless it wouldn’t be for Microsoft banning my old account -_- But that’s a completely different story
