I am unable to buy the xbox gold so I needed to find out if the pre-paid codes will allow me to put things on my file share. When the free trial codes I got were activated it still said that I did not have a xbox gold membership and that I am unable to use file share. Can someone please tell me what I need to do to be able to use my file share in halo 4?
Free trials are not full gold membership, they only allow access to multiplayer portions of games. In order to use your file share, you will need to purchase a Gold subscription from the Xbox Live marketplace or a pre-paid subscription from any retailer that stocks them. Hope this helps.
