Ok so I’m not sure if I just am a dunce about the whole thing or something, but when you post some thing on the file share you should be able to find it on another account even without typing in the specifics right?
When I Posted up my map for a recreation of lockout (not finished by the way, so don’t download and complain) i had first looked around to see if anyone had made one yet, lo and behold the search engine didn’t post that one had been made yet, so then I did a search to see what maps have been made overall, and I still hit null. Then after posting my own map( after thinking that maybe no one had gotten to making maps and posting them somehow) I did a general search and nothing populated. I then found that I could find my map by searching for my specific file-share, which means that it is within the aether but not readily find-able.
If anyone else has noticed this please let me know and if we need to get 343’s attention to this horrifying oversight let me know as well I will see what I can find out for contact information for them.

It’s not an oversight. They’re waiting for the game to hit the bargain bin in a week or so to implement the fileshare.
Right now it’s one of many issues faced by the custom game community. Not only that, but they force me to play the same 3-4 maps in almost every game mode, when the disc came with so many that could support those game-types, three being the forge maps ravine, impact, and erosion.
It sucks, and it’s driving me nuts, but that’s what you get from a company that doesn’t care about its core community.
I’ve been playing Assassin’s Creed 3 for the last two weeks, just finished it tonight and that was a great game; definitely different than most games I’ve played. If you’re getting sick of H4, I’d suggest trying out other games and realizing if 343 isn’t going to support the basics that made the halo franchise great, there are other gaming avenues to take.

Halo 4’s price should be cut in half for more functionalities to be available, really? -.-’

YES it should. All other Halo games came ready out of the box to play. We shouldn’t have to wait months for file shares to come up and months for custom games to be added back into the game. This stuff should have been there from day one.
