I just read some of the patch notes, and I notice that 343i states that Forge will come with a “basic” version of file share, and file sharing will be “updated” as time goes on. One thing I always do after I make a map is send a Message 2 All Friends (M2AF) and ask them to download and try it out. However, this was always a manual process. On the 360 it was rather easy, plus there was this $1 indie “game” I found that basically works as a M2AF app. But it is much more cumbersome on the One and not very practical IMO. Therefore, I think that the file share should have some sort of option to automatically send a M2AF, maybe with an added generic message like “Check out the Forge map I just made in Halo 5: Guardians!” or something. Basically give us a way to alert our friends about the map, something besides the X1’s community feed because I don’t know a single person that uses that.
