file browser can't find any files

my file browser isn’t working for some reason, i can’t seem to find any most downloaded or recommended files, and custom searching won’t work either. i’m wondering if this is an issue effecting everyone or just a few. my friend seems to have the same problem.

i know the variety of custom games have been severely neutered thanks to 343’s decision to lessen the amount options available to us for whatever reason, but i’m wondering what people have managed to create already regardless.

i haven’t seen a thread about this yet, but then i haven’t been here for the past couple of days…

Also, doesn;t really seem like custom games has been neutered to me. Can you name anything specific that’s missing?

I’ve been having the same problem. So has my friend. I don’t think this is limited to a small amount of people. You’re not alone.

well, to name one thing, you can’t change the loadouts of the infected in infection/flood mode anymore. they are stuck with swords. so that gets rid of… fat kid, duck hunt, smeer the -Yoink-, etc, just off the top of my head. also, RACE mode is gone. RACE. my favourite custom game mode of all time. gone. just like that. and since VIP isn’t in anymore either, race cannot be recreated like it was in halo 3.

okay thanks, well here’s hoping 343 can get this issue resolved soon.

How do you even get to the file browser?

I can’t even upload anything, apparently my gamer tag is offensive to 343’s uploading system!

there’s a few bugs they need to resolve and they need to get a system onto waypoint like Halo reach and Halo 3 had on bungie.net

has this problem been fixed yet? i’m having the same problem but i also have a strict NAT type and i dont know if its because of that or if its still a problem for everybody, also, how do i change my NAT type to open?

Do you guys not read the bulletins or come on the forums often? This has been a giant issue since launch. It doesn’t work for anyone and they’re restoring search on the 29th. Web support for the file browser will be online next month.
