At least for me, I figured out the issue is when I am playing Halo 5 and connected to either skype or party chat while playing. I thought it was my ISP but it seems to be a Microsoft issue.
It’s because you are playing online with people on the other side of the world and you don’t know it
No i played with people on the west coast in party chat and was lagging every game, then got out of party chat and played 3 games in a row with 0 lag. I believe it’s an issue with party chat/skype (might just be me)
I’ve noticed this too. Whenever I’m in party chat for some reason lately it lags.
Yup I had the same solution to this crippling lag and war zone REQ problems. Stopped going into a party and just called my friend on the phone and it worked perfectly ever since, I hope this works for everyone cause I did all the troubleshooting possible and this is what fixed it, twc and live in Rochester NY

50/5 and still to this day have issues with lag
some games run perfect other it just rubber bands me or sit and watch people run into walls for 20-30 sec at time then come back dead sometimes 2-3 deaths

Mine is 70/30 at home and 120/70-90 at the office no problems what so ever
but yeah sound like a lot of bandwidth issues maybe time to up your bandwidth…
I was having that problem and I’m pretty much always in a party. It makes sense now. Thanks.
It shouldn’t though as I can play any other game just fine in party while kids are on phones laptop or online on their Xbox. But this game even if I’m only one in house I get lag. At least 50% the deaths I get in game are from lagging out not to mention the DNF I get from unable to connect mid way thru games when I lag out completely
When you guys experience lag issues, do you immediately get kicked out of a match after it lags for 10 or so seconds?
Or just lag without getting kicked out?
