A rematch between Locke and Chief. In 5, chief was just curious to investigate cortana, but now he knows she’s a danger. The emotions he has for her are still there, and given her presence as an actual threat to humanity, this gives ONI and the rest of the UNSC the prioritization to eliminate her instead of bringing her back. Chief will never give in to destroying or killing cortana, and he might just be willing to not hold back as much in his first confrontation with Locke to make sure she has a chance.
