As much as I love the reach campaign,I hate how OP the Elites are on legendary.when all it takes a few plasma shots and a kick from an elite to die, then I start getting fustrated. Does anyone else have this problem or are you all too MLG to die to an elite lol

Then try to lure a single Elite to your location, behind cover. When they appear, EMP them, grab a semi-automatic weapon (Magnum, DMR, Sniper Rifle and Needle Rifle) and finish them off. Like how Hokiebird said

In too MLG. I had practice with the halo 2 campaign where 1 shot from a plasma pistol and I’m so weak they could sneeze on me and I would die
Soloing Reach Legendary was kinda difficult, and Elites were a huge part of that. That being said, they aren’t as hard as you make them out to be. Keep your distance, use cover the moment your shields are down in order to conserve your health (i.e. stick close to walls or large objects that you can immediately get behind). As everyone else said, yes plasma pistols are the way to go with a precision weapon as your secondary. Try to get rid of the canon fodder as quickly as possible, they make killing the elites needlessly more difficult. Once the majority of the grunts and jackals are gone, focus up on an elite. No matter how many elites there are, just focus one. Even if you have to pop in and out of cover several times before getting one kill. Patience is a virtue my friend.
If you get one thing from this, it’s use cover. Having your health up is the most important.

Probably because it’s very easy to learn and use. Hokiebird calls it Elite Combo, and I honestly prefer it.

I thought it was because the plasma pistol was such a common gun
Noob combo dates back to the old Halo days. I always thought that it was called that because it was too easy to do and didn’t take skill.
