Fiesta Penalizes You for Doing Well

No!

This is gamblers fallacy in a nutshell!

There is no memory, every life’s weapons are independent.

Exactly the point in the first post I made -

and the second post -

Try reading properly!

In most probability arguments and examples it is fine to use.

However

  • in fiesta you spawn with 2 weapons,
  • in fiesta most players tend to select the best weapon or the best weapon for the current situation out of the 2
  • from memory (can’t get on Xbox) there are 20 weapons in infinite - as I’ve written above in this example, in this topic of good weapon Vs bad weapons there are an uneven number of good and bad (and ok) weapons.

Using a die is not fluid enough.

Now to confuse you further - during a relatively short game, ‘law of the third’ will come into effect.

A law usually brought up in the game of roulette but will have some bearing here too.

Now, please read properly, don’t quote me wrongly, and above all I don’t need my job explaining to me - I do this everyday.

Wish I start a fiesta match with power weapons. My firsta matches are just ar and pistol, commando and ravager and Double pistols. I literally have to find and pick up a power weapon to have one that doesn’t despawn within 3 seconds of the person who died with it. Which makes fiesta an utter garbage game mode and I stay away from that mode unless I have to do a challenge for it.

The hammer and especially the sword ruin the mode 100%. It’s awful.

It’s definitely RNG.
Also you have to factor in that the bads of each team are essentially weapon racks.

I initially felt like “wtf why does the enemy keep spawning with Rockets and Swords?” then I realised really quickly the ones supplying them with Rockets and Swords are my team’s bads, the guys who get double digit deaths and almost no kill participation.

Fiesta isn’t meant to be competitive.

I think it’s just random. I had a game where all I got was Rocket Launchers and killed 3 vehicles.

That’s one of the current issues with the weapon balancing. AR Sidekick starts are great, but you don’t really have a need to switch to any other gun unless it’s an actual power weapon like the sniper or rocket launcher. The AR in it’s current state beats the kill time of the BR and several other guns. I reference the BR because that is the all time staple of precision weapons. The Sidekick I would say is actually perfect. It does really well in cqb and is okay in medium range engagements. Which is where the other precision weapons come in. The Commando can beat the Sidekick, but it has to be at medium range or further.

The current balancing is pretty good, but some stuff does need tweaking. The Commando needs a very minor buff. Whether that be slightly more accuracy or slightly more damage such as killing in one less bullet. Ravenger needs a serious buff or it will never be useful. It was pretty good in the flights, but they nerfed it super hard when multiplayer was released. Pulse Carbine is in a tricky place because it can kill in a few headshots, but all of those shots will never land making the gun overall less powerful. If they intend to keep the weird tracking on it then the shots need a per projectile buff. And the poor Plasma Pistol, what have they done to you? They took away your emp to give it to shock weapons and decided to make you useless on your own. The overcharge doesn’t track that well and the individual shots are weak. Sure the Plasma Pistol has never been a powerful gun that could get kills on its own except for CE and 5, but if you remove the utility of the weapon and don’t rebalance it to perform well on its own then it just comes off as bad and useless. Other than a few mechanical things with precision and sniper weapons that’s probably about it. Oh wait the Disruptor needs a buff also it currently takes 8 of it’s 10 round clip to kill. That’s way to much. It doesn’t leave enough room for someone who is very evasive or slightly inaccurate. With that strict of a window you have to have 80% accuracy to properly use this gun. Maybe 6 shots so you still need to be fairly accurate, but have some wiggle room. Or maybe just a reduction of 1 down to 7.

The BR in Infinite has pretty much been demoted to a DMR status, something which is really only effective on big maps like Behemoth or BTB.

In most scenarios, BR just sucks to use because the AR-Sidekick beats it. Ranked is the only place where BR still feels potent because of the absence of AR-Sidekick as common weapons.

And no, Commando cannot beat the Sidekick. The Sidekick can kill Commando users at the same range, and only loses to it if the Commando is sniping from max range, in that case pretty much doesn’t matter anyway.

Either way, AR needs its headshot potential removed. AR is too generous with its range and killing power, it doesn’t need the headshot too.

Seems to be random to me. There are some games where I getting pwn’ed just about the whole game because the game gave me the worse weapons just about every time.

@XEQoot you know I agree with your points, but you come off as such a POS talking down to someone who at no point said anything negative about you and was just trying to state his opinion and didn’t agree with you. You need to work on your own communication skill and not have a “holier than thou” attitude. So freaking rude man, get over yourself.
