I just tried to get my “kill enemy Spartan with Heatwave” and “Grapple Shot sb” in PvP. I killed a couple of players with the Heatwave and securely Grapple Shot 4 ppl. However it didn’t count. Same thing happened in the follow up game. Have I missed sth?

Had this happen to me with a pulse carbine kill which are annoying enough to strive for in the first place. Friend right next to me saw it happen, we kinda cheered bc i could go back to using weapons i don’t hate lol. Didn’t register when the match was over. Just needed one for the weekly ult to pop and after that I just… had enough. These things not registering is exhausting.

Sometimes kills and medals do not count no matter what playlist you are in.
I think Fiesta works cause I got 10 rockets kills on it.
I think it’s more of an issue with the tracker than playlist, but don’t take my word alone on this.

Yeah something is strange with the challenge tracking. Needed 5 AR kills in PVP. Got 7 kills in a match and also that medal for 5 kills with a auto gun. Still it only counted 4.
Not that much of a problem with guns like the AR or BR. But for other guns that is really annoying. (Commando for example)
On which planet is the commando rifle equal to the Battle Rifle? I am not sure if I am just very used to the BR, but that is just the weapon I am most comfortable with. And I think most longtime Halo players feel the same.
There is nothing like 6 people running to a weapon box in BTB. And no one is picking up the commando. 
Says a lot.
