OP, are you having trouble using weapons you spawn in like the Disruptor, Plasma Pistol, Pulse Carbine, Shock Rifle, etc.?
Go to the weapon drills and practice those weapons in and out! You’ll get better eventually, I still can’t figure out how to kill an enemy moving with the needler.

Fiesta is super fun not everyone wants to be competitive all the time.

It’s good for if you want to learn the new weapons!

It was made far worse this week by the combination of the universal SBMM and the weekly challenge for streaks. Fiesta should just be screw-around chaos, but instead by mid-week it turned into this super sweaty battle between players of similar skills trying to get 5 kill streaks (then leaving the playlist after they’re done). It’s self-destructive and kills the fun factor for most players.
It’s kind of a microcosm of the biggest threat to the game right now - pushing players through challenges and matchmaking to get fed up with the lack of anywhere in multiplayer to just screw around and have fun with friends.

It’s a fun enough gamemode that shouldn’t really be taken seriously. The problem is when a gamemode thats supposed to be a bit of fun and uses the RNG of your weapons as its main mechanic, is combined with a bunch of challenges that you can complete for an event.
Should make it big team battle fiesta

I CAN"T F"N STAND FIESTAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHH!
Also, the HAMMER is wayyyyyyyyy too much!
Thanks
I don’t mind the mode because its good for learning the weapons and mechanics in a really fast way. couple of my friends haven’t played the beta until recently and after a few rounds of fiesta they quickly recognized weapons and understood how to approach. I do miss my Grifball and SWAT though…
No…it sux
If I wanted to play Fiesta, then I’d choose it…which I never do
You hit the nail on the head with that one for sure and I completely agree. Fiesta is fun but when they put the challenges in it their goes the fun , good ole bye bye
Fiesta is a fun game list.
You spawn with random weapons and get the chance to try them out against other weapon.
I can relax really good in the fiesta game type

Did I mention how much I HATE Fiesta?
I’ve just spent the last 3 hours trying to finish this stupid -Yoink!- Ultimate Challenge.
All I want to do is play ranked
SUX
There are not enough weapons in the sandbox to justify having a fiesta playlist. It was a lot more fun in MCC and 5 because there were so many counters to every weapon. If the enemy team has a rocket or sword they’re gonna go on a streak most of the time it seems.

Are you kidding? The RNG of Super Fiesta in Halo 5 is insanely good. When was the last time you played it? I was playing last night and got almost constantly good weapons.
Fiesta isn’t too bad in small doses. Having to play a crap-ton of it because it’s tied to unlocks on the other hand gets old quick.
My hope is that their intention with the way they rotate these fracture events is to being then in with a different gametype each rotation. If that’s not their plan it really should be.
I’d have to agree. The current sandbox has very little by way of counterplay. Unless you’re a sniping prodigy spawning with a sniper and a shock rifle isn’t terribly beneficial. Lost count of how many times I’ve spawned with PP and disruptor pistol. After about the 6th time you get rolled by a group of two or three people with rockets and hammers/swords it becomes more than old.

Random Weapons are supposed to be just that, but it definitely feels like it favours certain weapon combos over others.
Grapple + Hammer/Sword is probably the worst combo to go up against, the Hammer has no risk vs reward like it used to, coupled with its godly range, and being able to kill someone without completing the swing animation.
Hammer is godlike, which is unfortunate considering the limited amount of weapons available.
