well ain’t that your oppinion. i mean it’s also kinda the point, offering a more random and chaotic playstyle. adapting to what you get, but that’s just me. it’s okay if ya don’t like it
personally i don’t like how it is in Infinite because of the horrendous sandbox it has. nothing is ballanced. heck i’d say the prior halo games had a more ballanced sandbox to suit fiesta
Fiesta as a stand-alone mode I absolutely love. It’s just pure chaos and nothing but fun. Don’t care about my k/d, whether I win or lose, it’s just a good time.
The problem with it here is giving people challenges to chase instead of embracing the chaos. I think the fact that so many people aren’t enjoying it isn’t a reflection on fiesta, it’s on the challenge system and it affects how people play.

Yeah, it’s not very fun.
It would be better if they made it so when you die you only drop one weapon.
By the end of the game everyone has rockets/sniper and when you spawn with pulse carbine and commando you’re pretty much done for.
Yeah that’s fair, I don’t like having challenges based on it; that’s obnoxious. Though the entire challenge system is really awful as is, so hopefully they’ll just overhaul the whole thing and create a real progression system at some point.

Me personally, I think Infinites Fiesta is the best yet.
I don’t mind it once in a while, and I enjoyed Super Fiesta a lot more in Halo 5 with all of the crazy unique weapons and vehicles.
What I really resent is that this event is making us play Fiesta over and over which I really don’t want to do.

This is one of the game modes for which I consider that having global statistics with a competitive approach in social games does not make any sense. It is a game mode where you can perfectly have a 7 loss streak, and still have a high k / d, or have a win streak and a -2 in your k / d. There is no sense in having compiled information that has no value.
That is why I insist so much that the global statistics of social games should be rethought.

Halo 5’s Super Fiesta is by far the best variant of the mode to have existed to date. So much variety.

Nah, halo 5s sandbox was oversaturated trash. I’d take a unique sandbox and fun equipment over that any day.

Halo 5 DID have a unique sandbox. Each weapon had it’s own unique functionality that’s about as unique as it gets. Hell some weapons even had TWO different functionalities, that’s why I still play Super Fiesta, because it’s amazingly unique.
Halo 5 had the most redundant, oversaturated garbage fire sand box that was filled to the brim with hyper lethal repeats.
The only unique weapon that game created that rivals the utility weapons of H3 was the Hydra. Hence why its in Infinite.
SWAT is worse and so are most of the gametypes in action sack.
I love fiesta, because you have to learn to adapt and you get better with weapons you dont use often. So definitely keep fiesta.

For me Fiesta in Infinite it’s not funny because most o the weapons are unbalanced, the Comando is so useless you can kill somebody long range with Buldog and Heatwave when these should be short lange weapons. The RNG for me is good its just luck wath you get but IMO most of the weapons need a huge balance.
I think it’s a lot of fun and forces me to use weapons that I otherwise wouldn’t.
I appreciate that it’s random and can be very unbalanced but it can still be a lot of fun.
Always good to have some variety - especially if you usually mainly play ranked where you’re using a BR for the majority of your time.

I love fiesta, easily my favorite game mode. But I do understand the frustration of tying challenges to it, that I find a little upsetting. As a mode to play I’m glad it exists, good way to release some steam and you can be bad and not get called out for it due to the RNG aspect. Anything to mask how bad I am at games.

Fiesta is fun, but the challenge to get 5 sprees in Fiesta is not.

Fiesta is fun until you get a challenge to do something specific in it, then the RNG and wackiness start to work against you. It’s something you can only really enjoy if you don’t take it seriously.

Essentially whoever made the challenges is not a gamer.
All of the challenges suck all the fun out of the game so hard. Like for real, if the challenge system doesn’t change, people will just move on and play Splitgate.

Got to disagree. It’s never been my go to game mode by any means, but when you’ve had a long day at work it’s nice to jump on fiesta and just have some mindless rocket violence
