Fiesta highlights major problem with Infinite

I’ve been playing some fiesta for the Tenrai event and one thing that has really stuck out to me is that most of the “power” weapons in this game completely suck. The rockets, hammer, sword, and sniper are all as expected but the rest of them are kinda bad. I just don’t see myself clamoring to have most of them over an AR or BR. I get the feeling that they were meant to be picked up when you’re out of ammo on your starting weapons so as not to sway the match one way or the other. Pretty disappointing if you ask me.

Yup. Here are my top few most hated new guns. 1-cindershot (garbage) 2- Hydra (garbage) 3- ravager (awful) and many more just suck in this game

The Cindershot is really good both long and medium fights, help well when they jump behind cover.

Hydra is good for vehicles,

Nope. The bounce on the cindershot is nearly impossible to time or control at short to medium range and the alt fire doesn’t allow enough control over the projectile to be anything close to accurate.
The hydra tracking capabilities are worse than the plasma pistol and that’s truly saying something.

It’s kind of true. I do ok in Fiesta when I spawn with a BR, but most other weapons, I’m lucky to get a single kill. Also, Sniper is not that much of a power weapon either; it’s more of a support weapon nowadays, until they bring it back to its former H2 or even H3 glory.

I do alright with cindershot. I usually aim at the ground and bounce it into them and just fire rapidly. I haven’t had that much luck with the targeting though.

It seems to me that everyone turns into a hyper lethal vector when they have the cindershot and I just walk around the map hip firing like a braindead camel and can’t kill anything even if I wanted to. I can’t stand that gun lol

Two Cinder explosions are enough to kill a player, I aim at the ground infront of players to prime it.

Hydra tracking is meant for vehicles, it deals less damage with tracking on players, two unguided missiles are enough to kill a player, direct hits. Guided is four or five if I recall. But it does wonders on vehicles.

I’m not good with either but I get kills with the Cinder. Can’t aim so I generally avoid the hydra.
