Fiesta has no Bots either? Seriously?

Why bother releasing this mode if you can’t even be bothered to implement bots? Way to go 343 rushing things when they aren’t ready. Just goes to show the management system really don’t know what they are doing.
So many basic things missing that even stuff they try to add comes off as half -Yoink!-. No wonder I see playing 1 game per day as a chore now just to get the event rewards.

There was constant pressure from the players to get other playlists out ASAP and those modes were welcomed.

343 admitted they hadn’t planned to release them so early.

They’re -Yoink!- if they do, -Yoink!- if they don’t and literally can’t please everyone it seems

Why do you want bots in Fiesta? To give the other team easy kills?

Why did they even release a Halo game without all these playlists in the first place? Why can’t I queue for BTB CTF right now? This isn’t a “darned if they do, darned if they don’t” situation they’re delivering a fraction of what they and Bungie delivered with EVERY past Halo game, its a MASSIVE step backward. Because this one is monetized.

We’re not missing the ability to queue for whatever gametypes we want because the poooooor, pooooooooooooor overworked 343 dev team couldn’t finish it in time after delaying the game for a full year and launching it with a robust CASH SHOP, its missing because cosmetics are monetized and the only way to earn currency is through challenges. So gating progression as much as possible is in 343/M $'s financial interest.

I think every player, myself included, thought a slayer playlist should have been in from the start.

This topic was asking why fiesta was released recently in a rushed state - they were trying to please the players.

No one will argue the playlists shouldn’t have been in the game at launch though

The whole game is in a “rushed state” because its monetized. They had no problem implementing all these paid cosmetics and the entire cash shop prior to launch but couldn’t give us basic features like the ability to choose the gametype we want to play (you know, like every other Halo game that isn’t monetized)? They absolutely could but chose not to, because doing so would mean players could more easily earn in-game currency via challenges. Its also why simply playing earns you nothing. Players would spend less real money if they could more easily earn the cosmetics without paying. It all revolves around the monetization and its insulting.

Like why the F can’t I queue for BTB CTF right now, putting aside the fact that BTB is just broken which just drives my point home further?

That isn’t the reason at all. They’ve explained why and the reason they released the playlist as they did originally was to take a cautious approach, likely to ensure the playerbase wasn’t split too much and because these gametypes were ready on the currently offered maps. They also needed to understand the relationship between inputs on a broader scale. Lots of considerations.

Easy to criticise as a fan.
