Field Gear? The Replacement for AA's and Equips

With a year before release there is no way Something like this could not be added but hopes to a future halo.
Of course You would only be able to start with them for few playlist such as invasion or firefight.

Field Gear is a replacement for AA’s and equipment and as there successor Its sorta a mixture.
There are 2 kinds of Field Gears

Chips:These are little chips that go in the back of your head like cortana but instead of being a blue chick with a brain there dumb AI’s who only know how to activate one part of the suit. They can be placed on the map but you can start with them just like AA’s (only on select playlist). Chips also can ether be stolen by other Spartans (say you die. Your opponent saw you use a chip so he comes over, he gets hold X for what ever and he rips it out your lifeless skull and tosses you away like garbage). Also because chips are put in your armor Emps will brake most of them.

Attachments:These are much more like equipment but can normally be used more then once. They can be spawned with but it would only be in customs or very few playlist but for the majority would be on the map.

Examples
Chips
Power Charge:By draining the power from your shield you can recharge plasma or laser weapons. This makes you extremely vulnerable as your shields recharge takes double as long. This cant be broken by EMP

Thruster:Its like jet pack but instead of a full on blast up its just a small boost to your jump making your jump doubled. Can be broken by EMP

Power Out: Power out is the deadly cousin of power charge. By using all the energy in your shields it send a emp out. This is sorta a common cold in a sense. You use it and it pops every ones shields in the area or turns off vehicles. If you survive the usage your shields wont recharge till after you die and respawn. sadly those cot in the blast half to wait double the normal charge time fr their shields back. emp can brake it

Sprint:Just like sprint. EMP wont brake
Evade:Just like evade. EMP wont brake

Cloaking:for the cost of half your shields you are turned completely invisible (you wont even show up on radar) (your shields will be turned back to normal after usage is done.) One bad thing is however A EMP while use will brake it and jam your armor for a long time.

Attachments
Bubble shield:Like the halo reach one but doesn’t heal. Can only be used once.

Deploy-able med kit/Repair Kit: Allows you to take along with you 2 med kits to help out the team. If the game does not require health Then It is a repair kit. The Repair kit fixes damaged armor (like broken chips or un jamming you) and can put damaged vehicles back at full health (But they are still easy to destroy with weak points open every where).

Deploy-able Turret:Gives you 2 Automated turrets that the user can deploy to add defense. Don’t worry if you put them in the wrong place because you can pick them back up.

Deploy-able Trip Mine: 3 small mines that can be placed where you please. When set off a Large emp is let off shutting down vehicles (but not harming them) and killing those closest to the blast (so if your in the front when you hit your done for but in the back you may live)

Arm shield:A small shield on the arm that will protect the front of your person.

Scout clone:A small flying camera thing that you can use to make a controllable hologram of your self and use to scout hazardous areas. In hologram form you play in third person… sorta. Your actually a flying camera viewing a hologram so its first person look on third person.

Darter:The darter is a small turret like weapon that shoots a small dart at any enemy in range. This dart sends a waypoint above this persons head telling every one on your team where he is. Sadly its very easy to destroy and Emping this person will remove the dart.

Chainler:A small little gadget that can link you to a living team mate if they are close by. So by placing it out as long as your team mate is in range and alive you can spawn on him.

Some great ideas if implemented properly. This is how I would have it though…

Mostly simple things such as knifes and daggers, flares. Then up to thrusters as you described them but for use in Zero-G environments only, then things like mines, demolition charges and laser designators.

I would simply prefer it if you could run/sprint as soon as spawn but that particular idea might meet some resistance. I always loved the idea of active camouflage/cloaking particularly if it were to return as a plug-in for your armour that when used would drain your shield empty and simply enable you to blend in with your surroundings.

That’s just what I would want however.

to tell all truth I would give you what you want if I could

Yesterday, I was watching Future Weapons and I noticed something that reminded me a lot of the Bubble Shield. Here it is. Of course, the “shield” isn’t visible but it could be represented as such.

A tank with this would be kick–Yoink-. Wraiths have boost. Why not give Scorpions something to compete with that?

No more gimmicks…

Start everybody the same strength and let them pick up their junk.

Read the thread please
Its clearly stated you would only start with them on some playlist like invation

I think it would be neat if these are pickups. Spread around a bit more than the Halo 3 Equipment where everyone can acquire and use one quite easily… But yeah, I like it. Loadouts would fit better for Invasion.

Thank you
I think AA’s and equipment if done better then in past games will do wonders

I remember that thing

one hell of a wall
makes missles and rockets completely useless.

I hope they add a Tornado Gun.

Or a cube that traps a players soul in it.

In all seriousness though, if equipment will be in Halo 4, I would rather it is something unique, relevent and balanced, rather than a bunch of stuff we already have with a different name and very slightly altered. No offense.

I wanted it to be like that actually. so it wouldnt seem to stranger.
but I also added 2 new attachments I think you would like

Invation is a fun gametype.

I’d just like to the good old power ups, rather than a complex list of gadgets.

Sorry to say but just confirmed
complex gadgets are loved
But then again who knows?

NO. keep it the way it looked in the vidoc.

Still
seems to be more towards my favor
