I should never have been 17 assists in a free for all game because of where I spawn.
By that I mean I continuously have games where I spawn in the middle of someone’s battle, or directly in front of someone who has a power weapon or OS.
I realize most people will count me off as someone just complaining, but I’ve been playing since launch when they first had 8 people instead of 6. It got better with 6, but it’s still quite terrible.
I love this game but when you get to the higher ranks, especially in ffa, there can’t be any room for error because the competition is good.
So, if the competition is good, then when I spawn directly in front of them it’s just that much easier for them to have a major upper hand.
I’ve found nothing about a hotfix, or even admitting that there’s a problem. That’s the only reason I posted this.
I’m just sick and tired of being spawn killed and getting ruined knowing that it simply isn’t my fault, its just the “luck of the draw” so to speak.

I’ve been grinding to champion the past 2 days from d6 and it is an absolute hell. The spawns are complete rubbish and when you’re situated outside the U.S the magnum becomes next to useless. Especially when your shots are like paper and you rack up 10-15 assists per game on average. Just stay calm and aim for the top 4 every game and you’ll thrive.

Being a uk or eu player makes you a sitting duck in ffa. All weapons are useless unless you had a 1 second or more headstart to counter their 1 second headstart on the game screen. I believe that to be the reason why i always have a ridiculously high assist rate. 16 or 17 assists happens alarmingly regularly for me. But lets be honest the spawns at the start are way too crucial. If you live at the start and get a power weapon you can run away with the match and gain map control. If you dont you are catching up in massively unfavourable conditions. The spawn system always spawns you either the wrong side of the map or in someone elses fight! This never happened in Halo 3 but does so much here. I almost want it to be 8 man ffa again so nobody gets preferential spawns (the leaders tend to) as there will always be peoole spawning behind you. In 6 man the same 2 people get blammed on in a match from.when i see theatre mode. That, not thrir skill, is why they lose.
Thats why i always think 10 placement matches is a joke as you could easily get 6 rubbish matches in a row from.spawns that make you lose to abybody. Some people also get more spawn luck overall than others- i have seen this even with the too champs-vetoed gets far less spawn luck overall than some others i have seen. And his arent too bad. Mine are generally horrific, but when i actually get good spawns i can go big.
