Is ffa impossible when you hit higher levels, so lower ranked opponents are better?
Also is it normal that people just pistol you to death and I can’t do the same.
What is the truth about this? Something is not right?
Am I missing cheats?
This game seems very scripted or fixed?

Bro welcome to Onyx level FFA, were your 5 shot needs to be on point, and you need to learn when to jump into engagements. Theres no trick or cheat to FFA, just you and your gun skill, also map awareness is essential as well as working around the flow of the game. Trust me if you find it hard now your really going to struggle higher up, so grab your Mountain Dew and git gud bro.
I think there’s a sweet spot somewhere between Gold and Onyx where the game is at its best. You are at a low enough level where it is not ultra sweaty and filled with tryhards, but you are at a high enough level that you dodge Noobs and Smurfs. I’ve been trying really hard to get to this level, but I’m trapped in Silver. I just about broke out of it this season, but I juuuuust didn’t make it.

That’s not true in high onyx. 3rd gets you a few points, usually 5 or less. 2nd gets you a little more, and first gets you anywhere from 10-30 (all depending on CSR and MMR of your opponents.)

Yeah true Im only 1783 so I need to stay in 3rd to gain CSR, but at Bronze to Diamond you can still gain at CSR. I probably should of explained it better.
I think its Onyx in genral anyway now as High Onyx atm is around 2600 CSR
According to your profile, it seems that your main focus is FFA and you have achieved an onyx rank for your best. moving on to your pistol inquiry, at this level and judging your service record you should know the basics of a pistol already. every shot counts and maybe you need more practice on aiming as i guarantee you at higher levels people use pistols rather than power weapons or AR if available. absolutely no cheats are involved here, its just the level of skill your going against. Keep in mind that FFA is a playlist to easily rank up, so you could either match with onyx around your level or highly skilled players.
I don’t think there’s any hidden trick, it’s just that the higher your rank gets, the more consistently good players you’re matching. You’re not facing those that just run around challenging every fight, you’re facing those that understand how map positioning works, how to control power ups/weapons, when to challenge and when to back off, etc.
It sounds like you’re running into smurfs and people that are better than you in general. Nothing really can be done except to just practice more and hopefully you’ll get better.
I’m not talking about any game play here, I’m talking about watching how the up and down arrow works around diamond and onyx after each first to third finish. I just finished second with a two game unranked player first and I went down rank. Last month this wasn’t the case and have been at diamond five each time. Last month I would move up at the same level with first to thirds. And how is it each game gives unfair advantage to lower ranked players. So it’s not that every game is even and some players are better, its that unranked are always at top of ffa games. Something has changed recently. Were too many players reaching onyx? So they are bumping down all non wins. When you play enough games you start to notice a matrix like pattern to the game, no one else feels this way?

Its just means you as a player need to learn and get better as you play to start winning fights,thats it no cheats needed.

Just went from Diamond Six to four finishing second in a ton of games, explain that ftards
Josh Menke cleared this situation up in his April 3rd Matchmaking Feedback Update. Looks like everyone is experiencing some sort of strange CSR behavior.

Yea so basically everyones CSR is Bull**** so don’t bother until next season.
