I used to play a lot of FFA, but in Halo 5, not so much. Unless there was an update to the playlist I don’t know about (which is possible since I haven’t played FFA for a while), there is only 1 game type in that playlist, and that is the game mode of Slayer. I do like slayer, but FFA playlist in the past always had variety to it. They had oddball, Crazy KotH, Juggernaut, Swords, Mosh Pit, Regicide, VIP, Headhunter, hot potato to name just a few, plus they had variants to each of those game modes including slayer.
So I am asking, please add more game types, and variants of those game types to the FFA playlist. It is a very simple request, and should be easy enough to do.
its because 343 built all the maps with team play only in mind. No ffa game modes I’m afraid.
If I remember correctly ranked FFA is always just slayer as it should be IMO. FFA games such as odd ball (not in H5), KOTH (not in H5 due to strongholds) were for the Rumble Pit (not in H5). But as I love H5 FFA I would love to see a rumble pit added where mics were allowed for some trash talk and different game types added. H5 is a very “team” oriented game.

Yeah you can tell that 343 really designed the maps around team play cause you will get spawn killed a lot in ffa from my experience ¬_¬ Even with 2 less players ending up with 6 players, its still a mess and I can see why its my least played ranked playlist and the fact that its unnecessarily sweaty…

Did you ever play LW in h3? It was an awesome playlist. Be nice to have oddball and koth in this game for ffa. In h3 LW ranked there was slayer,oddball,koth, and swords

Yes I loved H3 lone wolves and from what I recall I only remember it being slayer. The FFA games where in H3 social FFA rumble pit.
I don’t think some of those game modes would be good for a ranked playlist, but they’d be fine in a social FFA.
