Now I personally don’t care much about FFA, but I am trying to be a decent rank in it and it sucks so much
My first complaint is that the maps are too small, which means half of your kills are taken and you spawn in front of the enemy. 343i you did better in Halo 4.
My second complaint is something having to due with the ranking system in general. Why was I put on a team that had 4 Onyx and 1 Diamond? I came in last but still.
My third complaint is that you spawn either far away from Weapon Pads or too close. I spawned in front of OS once and I thought that was stupid.
- Make maps bigger like in Halo 4
- Make the ranking system better so I don’t come in last and do terrible just because I was put in a game with Onyx players.
- Make only 1 thing to go for and make it so WE DON’T SPAWN BY OS OR ROCKETS. -Yoinking!- annoying
the more you play FFA the better you will get at it. Using a headset is huge in FFA to hear the gunfights so you can pick up as many kills as you can.

FFA sucks in every genre and every game though.
FFA is H5 is actually quite good. It’s the best it’s been since H3 lone wolves. Also if you think your kills get stolen a lot now good thing you weren’t playing back when they had it at max 8 players. FFA is my favorite playlist.
Not getting mad in FFA is hard but you do a lot better if you try to focus.
FFA in H5 is way to competitive and tough for the majority of players now a days.

He must of been doing good against lower ranks for the game to put him against people several ranks above him.
Trust me when I tell you this… It’s still better than social fiesta. Trust me.

Well FFA can have a low population so sometimes the window to make games is pretty big.
My goal is to make it to champion ranks. So far I have just made it to oynx 1500

i usually stop playing ffa after i get onyx too much craziness in that playlist for me lol
FFA is a different beast than that of Team Slayer. Yes, it can get frustrating at times, but I find it more enjoyable than team slayer, because you can control your destiny; You play well, generally you finish in the top half and vice-versa. Whereas in team slayer, you can destroy everyone, but still lose because of teammates. I find that more frustrating
FFA is a combination of skill and luck. Sometimes you end up having everything seemingly to fall into your reticle, other times you seem to constantly spawn in front of opponents or just as you are about to get the last shot in for a kill, 2 others come out of nowhere and kill you and the person you 1-shotted!
I still feel the same way many times and am constantly trying to figure out maps and playing style/tactics for each map and how to make adjustments on the fly for opponents I face. It does get better—not easier—just better.
But—you will ALWAYS have, no matter what level—games where just everything goes wrong no matter what you do. Just shrug it off and tough it out starting fresh on a new match.

OMG! 8 players. Those games were NUTS!
All you did was try to run around and time things right where you could get 4-6 players in a cluster shooting at each other and you nade and shoot as many as you can from a distance.
At times I can remember not being able to see anything because there were so many explosions from grenades going off!

The top champs prefer 8 man FFA. 6 is too campy. It’s ridiculously frustrating up until Onyx. Players finally back down when one shot and it makes multi kills easier.

i hate when people dont challenge and someone else clean up the kill.
I would rather have an enemy back down if I think he is, since 180s can be slow on a normal sensitivity like 3-4, and movement is so fast otherwise.
