How does the ranking work in FFA?
i know the system isn’t perfect atm and still needs time to gel, however, i won a few matches last night and went up, obviously, but i also came 4th/5th in a couple and still, went up?
Now i much prefer this tier ranking in h5 to the 1-50 and it seems perfect in team games, but seems a tad odd for FFA
does any one know the requirements to gain CSR for FFA
well when you get 4th you only loss to 3 people and you beat 4 so that would make sense that you ranked up. as for the 5th place ranking up…that doesnt happen often, you must have been matched and beat some good players. I ranked up from 5th once also, but looked at recent games and it was because a champion league player was in teh game and got 6th.

yeah i get that and where it does kind of make sense, coming 4th isn’t a great accomplishment, id have thought 1st and 2nd would be the only positions that would increase rank

well, as much as i love the ranking system in team games, thats a bit of a let down, doesn;t really mean i have to win then, although most ffa games ive played recently ive hit the top 3, (last night was an off day finishing lower lol)
FFA is the easiest to place high and rank up

i came in second most of my quals and never won a match and got Diamond
Played qualifying games on a shared account with some friends…I won the first game, then friends were coming 5-8th with really bad K/D. After 10 games the account ranked Diamond. Go figure.
OMG thank god. I was so scared of playing ffa since i thought I was losing ranks whenever I didn’t come first. Queuing againt onyx and champ players while your gold is scary asf.
