6 people start, 3 quit, you get 3rd and they derank you? How the heck can they even justify that.
Somebody needs to give some more damn redbull to the engineers who are lagging with bugs.

I was Diamond 6 at 75% through to Onyx.
Started a game of the full 6 people, sat in 2nd/3rd place the entire game. 3 guys quit and it was basically 2nd/3rd place who can find each other first before 1st place could find us and destroy is. Ended up being super close and ended up 3rd, it deranked me to 56% Diamond 6.
I just don’t understand how they can let people quit and don’t take that into consideration to see who’s “On bottom” and deranking them. If all 6 would have finished the entire game, a 3rd place would of put me at about 85-95% Diamond 6.

ex: Diamond 6 (0% - 99%)
I was getting spanked in the last couple of games I played though. But with FFA I take a top 3 as a win even though 343i thinks it’s a loss. All other Halo games, and other games that have FFA consider a top 3 a win. Plus you only lose % of your current rank if you are in complete last place (6th)
6th Place: % derank
5th Place: stay the exact same %
4th Place: tiny % increase
so on and so on

Completely and utterly false. You will generally derank if you take 4th or lower. And if you take third, but lose to a platinum or low diamond then it will also derank you because it takes into account the other players’ ranks.
