Finally discovered the joys of FFA a few days ago, and got through placement matches last night.

Four 1st place, three 2nd place, a third place, and two DNFs thanks to getting connection dropped (on my 100MB ethernet… yeah). In the games I won there were diamond players.

Fast forward to the season rank screen, which reads DIAMOND 3 COMPETITIVE SKILL RANK in big old letters… but shows a Platinum 3 icon. Which my profile seems to agree with.

Something is amiss. Even if Plat is the correct rank (I really have no idea), that’s a bug.

Yeah, that Diamond/Plat bug has happened since the update. I rank plat (fairly accurate) but it says diamond.

OK, good to know it’s on the known list.

Related question, how does CSR work in FFA? Is the only way to move up to win?

Top 3 typically move up. 4th now and then I think may if they beat higher CSR players.
