So after playing the Proving Grounds Playlist, which I think is a nice addition, using HCS map rotations with weapon and power layouts that are similar to the competition maps. I came to think of a few things. Can Proving Grounds stay as a permanent playlist? I know it’s original intent was to get feed back on the new radar/motion tracker modifications on a ranked arena playlist but personally I find it more competitive and enjoyable than the default Team Arena playlist.
Then I was thinking since 343 has now implemented a essential Mock Pro playlist for teams, could we see a Proving Grounds FFA. After competing in the Vegas FFA Friday I felt that the tournament style approach to FFA would make FFA more enjoyable and prep players for the mini tournaments that happen when their is an HCS stop in their area, which could make rookies to these tournaments able to compete and even beat out pros that may be attending/competing.
I would be all for a Proving Grounds FFA playlist. I think it should be in all of ranked matchmaking to be quite honest.
