FFA needs to lower it's player limit.

There are too many players in it. You can literally spawn dead, since a lot of times the moment you spawn you are getting shot by 2 people.

I just played a match with INSTINCT that did nothing, but camp with his DMR, and I don’t even blame him because of the randomness.

The player count should be reduced to 5 on forged maps, but that’s not going to happen because the launch maps are too big.

343i, why would you even release so many big maps?

WHAT!? NO WAY! Don’t you dare convince 343i to lower the FFA player count. 8 players is fine. Its alway been like that in Rumble Pit in Halo 3 and reach. It should never be reduced to 6 or even 5 WTF are you thinking.

Rumble pit was a social playlist in Halo 3 that also used the 8 player limit, but the ranked Lone wolf playlist had a 6 player limit because it was ranked, and so is Halo 4’s Rumble pit.

So it needs to adapt to the competitive settings.

No way. Just because it now has rank doesn’t mean that Rumble Pit must reduce its player limit to 6. It was okay in Halo 3 because there were two FFA playlists one that was ranked and had 6 players while the other one was social and has 8 players. And in Halo 4 since this is probably the only FFA Slayer in this game then it should stick to rumble pits main limit 8.

A total of 8 players is perfect and the regular setting for FFA. The playlist is too easy right now anyways. Don’t even have to get first place to rank up

This playlist perfectly mirrors 343i’s inability to meet any side’s demand ( casual/competitive ).

I think it’s fine. It’s friggen free for all, what do you expect? A free for all is, by nature and by it’s name, hectic and “random.” Hell, the randomocity of this game is what makes it better than others.

Mostly by accident though, fails of the weak/other such series are what I’m talking about. but this is largely unrelated…moving on.

I believe FFA should be 6 players with a 5 second respawn, no instant respawn ever.

Hmm really for me the only thing I would like to see is a slight moment of invulnerability once you spawn. Like others have said it isn’t funny already having no shields upon spawning. Other than that though I’m liking the Rumble Pit overall.

I see people quitting the whole time. It already seems to have a limit of about 5-6 players.

I don’t think that it is the player limit that is the problem, I’d put the blame on instant respawn. Rumble Pit felt fine to me apart from that.
