I have a major problem to report and its frustrated me quite a bit. This weekend, I logged a lot of time playing FFA and it barely ranked me up after multiple 1st, 2nd, or even 3rd place finishes. It all started once I got disconnected from a game for no reason whatsoever. I was Onyx 2099 and when I was DC’d, it brought me down about 40 points. Then, I had NO CHANGE in CSR afterabout 5 games. Then, I got second place and went down another 20+ points. Absolutely ridiculous. I’m playing against champions and was placing top 3 often with no change/a decrease in CSR. You SHOULD NOT go down for second place. Cmon, 343!
Lastly, to top it all off, I played 2 games to end the night and won both of them (first place) and my CSR didn’t move ONE BIT. After that, I was done. I turned it off for the night hoping it would get fixed ASAP. When I got on today, I placed second in my first game and leveled up 4 points (so, to clarify, that’s 2 first place matches followed by a second place with only a +4 CSR score. Then, I lost the next game and went down 20+ points. What gives?! Tons of my competitors are still qualifying and the rest are high onyx and champions
Net: I was on the cusp of reaching champion and was absolutely screwed by the ranking problems. I’ve leveled all the way down to 1964 now and I couldn’t be more frustrated. I love the game and consider myself to be a good player but if I’m level locked even after winning, there’s no point in playing. My grind to 2,000 was as ranking up should be but once Friday hit, something went wrong - I know when you rank near the bottom a CSR decrease should follow but leveling up should NOT be this difficult (especially if you’re winning).
Please fix and figure this out ASAP so I can rank up appropriately.
