Two games played of FFA and I’m 1 for 2 even though in the second game my K/D was (+11). I even had the most kills by (+8) when the game was over with? I was “KING” for over 4 minutes in the second game and I still came in second place. How?
Just more proof as to how this game caters to BAD gamers.
There is no FFA in Halo 4, what you’re playing is regicide. The King being you in this case racks up a bounty and when you die the other player gets those points. So they shoot ahead of you and win.
FFA is in the game description…Is it FFA for BAD GAMERS? Well, I guess I already know the answer to that question because, apparently, it is. Nice FFA 343…Yet, another instant classic (sarcasm).
I have no problems in Regicide, even as the King, I have only lost twice due them claiming the bounty at the right time, but I don’t see how the bounty caters to bad gamers. if you are as good as you think you are, then having all the others chase you down shouldn’t be a problem, cause they fight each other just as much as they try to kill you, since as they squabble over trying to kill you just swoop in and claim a Double or Triple kill, besides, having everyone trying to kill you makes it that much harder to keep your lead.
Thanks for the reply, but I wasn’t bragging about myself. I listed the STATS of the second game because in an FFA playlist a (+11) K/D, (+8) Kill Spread and being “King” for over 4 minutes shouldn’t warrant a second place finish, but who am I, right?
-I’m just a gamer who has been playing HALO forever.
-I’m just a gamer who went through 4 Xbox 360 systems for Halo 3 when a consumer recall should have taken place.
-I’m just another gamer who, at one point in time, had 20 active Gold Memberships for Halo 3.
-I’m just a gamer who witnessed Microsoft passing on dedicated servers to host HALO matchmaking games when HALO consumer’s should have been the first to experience such gaming privileges.
-I’m just a customer.
I wish they had a regular FFA, the point is Regicide is essentially if all you do the entire game is kill the winning guy who is worth 40 points you win. I had a game where I finished second when I was the king the whole entirety of the game before then, the winning guy had 11 king kills and one kill as the king.

Methew,
Seriously, I think you just blew my mind with such wisdom. Thank you Master Corn-Hole-Ee-O. I’m not quite sure what I would have done with myself if it wasn’t for you. Now then, if only I could learn how to wipe my own -Yoink- I think I’d be ready to take on life.
It is because you don’t win Regicide by being King the whole game. Just squat in second place and once you have 270 points and the King has a max bounty, one kill and you win without ever having the target over you.
I just played 3 matches of regicide, and won all three of them. Two of which, I was king for most of the match. The other, I simply went after the king, killing anyone who got in my way. I really don’t think it’s for bad players, it’s all about timing and placement. If you’re not the king, you head towards where he’s going, cut him off, ambush him if possible, and kill him. Or you can stalk him, follow him and let him get kills, adding to his bounty, and once it’s nice and juicy, kill him.
If you ARE the king, make sure you are in a well defensible area, one where they only have 1, 2, or if you’re confident, 3 ways to get to you, like a hallway or stairs. A close quarters weapon is a big help, but assault rifles work too. I ONLY used the suppressor in all three matches, with the exception of the light rifle for long range kills (I use the firepower mod). I think regicide is fun, you just need to have a basic plan before you play, mostly you just need to decide where you’re going to defend yourself.
*sorry for the long post, I think I made this sound more complicated than it is.
