FFA as it stands does not function

I know 343i is thinking fast game-play=fun experiences but there is a point where that is just so not the case, that point is Halo 5’s 8 Player FFA.

The maps simply cant accommodate 8 players sprinting dashing and spartan charging each other the average kill times are so low.
Halo 5’s ffa is not like in previous Halo titles where yes there is an element of randomness and chaos but a skilled player would easily triumph over others pretty consistently. In the other Halo title’s. The sheer number of players running around on the adequately sized maps as well as the horrendously low kill times make FFA competitively nonfunctional.

Decrease the number of players in FFA from 8 to 6
I have found n custom games (As well as a removed radar) that these settings made FFA in Halo 5 actually enjoyable.

It does function. It just doesn’t function as well as it should.

6 players would be good. as it stands the only ones that become a REALLL -Yoink- show is regret and orion. eden is pretty bearable as well as pegasus

Yes six players would be perfect for FFA. FFA is about all I ever play and a few times people quit out the game played so much better. Hopefully 343 will change it but it’s unlikely. They have no clue about FFA… heck mcc ffa was 10 players at one time… They don’t realize 1v7 needs a lot more room than 4v4.

6 player FFA would be exceptionally good, radar should stay though, as it has in the past.

Change it to 6 or 7 players, make respawn times way less, and make the motion tracker range bigger. These suggestions would make FFA much better.

I like having 8 players, but I agree on pegasus everything can fall apart. I think it just is fine on maps like rig and regret.

The player count should be reduced to 6 players, and the spawning needs to be fixed and increase the radar to 25 meters.
