I just finished a round of firefight and when it was over, I received a temporary ban for quitting. That is confusing to me since I finished. I am assuming it is due to having the previous two people I was with apparently lagged out, since the score card came up with the waiting for player message with the countdown for 10 seconds. Then they disappeared. I finished both games and then got banned. lol.
I guess when games like that split you get counted as quitting ?

Happened to me only once. And yes, it has something to do with laging out (which is the same as quiting).
I just took a break for a few hours. Come back and first game back, same problem. I make it to set two, lag into my own game, then get put on probation again.
What do I need to do to stop this (besides never playing FF again) ?
Inheritor is going to be a LONG road with me only being able to play one game, then a forced 15 minute break, lol 
Check your internet connection? Are you hard wired or connected via wi-fi?
I always play wired.
I just did a speedtest on speedtest.net and got…
20 ms ping
40 Mb/s down
6.5 Mb/s up
That down is considerably slower than usual…I am typically at 90 or so. I just got off probation and have done a few MM games and have no trouble with any lag.
EDIT: recheck just game the same numbers only with the 95 down I am used to.
it seems as if you are lagging out leaving you the last one there to carry on playing but the banhammer registers it as a quit, it might not have been that specific FF game you mentioned since the quit ban is delayed by a roughly a day so it is probably some substantial amount of quits the day beforehand.
Hopefully it just goes away soon! I just ran about 5 games of team objective with no issues at all. I am at credit cap for the day, so maybe some time off will do the trick or is it based on the number of games played since the infraction?
as long as you don’t quit it should be 2-3 days.
if you do quit or lagg out however, the length of quit probation increases.

I played quite a few FF games this morning with no troubles, but then the U.S. woke up. I suspect the Atlantic ocean > my connection. This is literally routine for me to get lagged out of FF when I get matched with US players. It appears the banhammer is unhappy with this

odd, cross see’s to the U.S is never a problem with lagging out for me, though, the input delay is to much which spoils it for me.
