343, help me out here please. I still need a crap load for Grounded. The amount of vehicles I get on each map is very little. Anyway you can make it to where at least 10 banshees appear on Holdout and Installation 04? I’m only at like 1,890 vehicles.
I’m not even at 300 lol.

I’ve seen videos of people getting vehicle kills on the dropships (not the turrets), by shooting rockets at the hole in the bottom… I’ve tried but had no luck… =/
Also, the maps that have ghosts, you can hop in them, drive up to a Gold Elite, and they’ll hi-jack it, then you can blow it up for an extra vehicle kill!

Yeah, Beachhead or whatever that map is called you can get atleast 10 a game…

I was on Holdout trying to get a daily challenge of destroying vehicles in Firefight matchmaking and killed an Elite that was using one of the human turrets, I killed it and the challenge counted that as a vehicle kill, so I’m pretty sure they do if an enemy is firing it.

Yeah, I like Beachhead, they’re is at least one vehicle a round.

sorry my bad phantom turrets, its stupid but the commendation requires a lot of time I have 95% of progress and grounded at silver almost all onyx in firefight, but not grounded or perfectionist well perfectionist is going to gold, but grounded is stiill at 700 !! counting turrets would be awesome

the best way i have found is to get a buddy who doesnt care about that commendation, maybe they are working on something different. Firefight doubles, arcade fight, beachhead, 6-10 vehicles per game. If they were to implement drop ships every round again then we could get even moar vehicle kills.
My Grounded is almost to gold, but it’s still a tiresome affair trying to earn those last few. Dropships every wave would help immensely, as would a patch that actually counts Phantom turrets as vehicles.
As it stands, the best option is the following:
- Find a partner and play doubles on Beachhead. Arcadefight will net about 6-10 vehicles if you’re lucky, while FF Limited yields even more than that.
All of my firefight commendations are Onyx or maxed, except for Grounded, Vehicular, and Perfectionist.
Maybe a new playlist, like they added BTB heavies in Matchmaking, perhaps a vehicle heavy version of Firefight is in order?
That would shoot those commendations up a lot faster than just regularly playing.

Long night of solace sabre battle against banshees, seraphs, and phantoms, if it were a firefight map it would be insane! I have onyx vehicular, believe me it was NOT FUN. I refuse to get in a vehicle in firefight now.
Grounded and perfectionist there is no point in my eyes on trying to get either to onyx or max. It is simply too hard. Even if you manage to not die in firefight it will still take you more than 2800 games of 3 round complete firefight to get it to onyx. It’s max is 8000, and each game is 20 minutes long…

They count human turrets as long as its not 2x score attack. But they should count phantom and spirit turrets.

FF arcade on Beachhead does give a good amount of vehicles but that’s if you’re lucky to get them all. And FF lags too much so Limited just gets annoying.
They should drop vehicles on all maps. I don’t see why Courtyard or Waterfront can’t have some ghosts appear at the end of each round.

They are both NOT coded to have vehicles on them, such a change would require us to redownload an updated .map file via a Title Update.
