When playing FF arcade is it considered poor etiquette to steal others kills ? I guess I just thought that was part of the game but I seriously don’t want to be an AH
There really isn’t etiquette over the internet because of the lack of consequences. It’s best just to get as many kills as you can and let it slide if they get stolen from you.
FF arcade etiquette…that just is something that has never existed…
Am I really going to allow you to stand there with a sniper, and me running around with a Rocket Launcher, and NOT take the kills you can’t get to fast enough???
I don’t think so.
Most of the time that people post something like this, they are the one’s that use the Sniper Loadouts and work those Comm and Kills…That is what 2x score is for, or FF Doubles, or the Sniper Playlist. Not FF arcade on BeachHead, or Holdout or camping on the base tower on Glacier.
Arcade is about blowing stuff up as quickly as possible, getting to the bonus round, and earning those fat Comm credits at the end of the game.

The only way you’re going to do better then anyone is to be a little pushy.
Also, don’t forget about “Score Attack” basically an online Firefight mode for one.

I play a lot of score attack. And a lot of anniversary arcade
If you like FF arcade and want points fuel rod and rockets only work on the first set! After that with the increase skulls and health being a marksmen worth the effort…
Use the sniper class. I may not get as many kills but i get more point for combing my head shots and getting more sprees and medals…BTW if you are lagging and don’t have host use the Dmr and pick of the one shot enemies…

Unless you play limited it is every man for himself, although if you don’t want to be an -Yoink- hole, if you choose the sniper loadout, don’t stand right beside ANOTHER sniper. Happened to me today, so irritating. Assists are a precious commodity. After you hit gold you’re gonna want people to ‘steal your kills’ as onyx backup takes plenty of time.
Also if you’re going to try and stack the deck by killing yourself with rockets at the start in order to have FRG and RL, be prepared for a teammate who’ll take your fallen gear. I see it all the time, most often people do it even before the starting room has emptied, then they get pissed when people take their gear.
What I am beyond tired of in firefight is when kids whine and complain that they don’t like a gametype that got chosen so they leave right from the get go. Happened today, Nadefight on corvette, some kid squeeked how he didn’t like it and left with his friend, then me and guy left over started. Other guy got me killed from the start before leaving. Although I did make a handsome pile of credits, and set a new high score for the leaderboards, it wasn’t worth it. The entire course of the game just pissed me off. It’s like these people just want arcade when it’s so damn boring. Fist fight, nade fight, fiesta fight, they’re all so much more fun!!!
Is variety hated that much in the reach community?

Odd.
I always start up with the sniper and I end up leading in both kills & points 90% of the time.
You must be playing with bad snipers lol.

Well, if you are looking for kills towards the Vehicular commendation, I would recommend using the stationary turret.
Every kill on that map is mine, you are just around to pick up my slack. This is attitude you should be having when in arcade. If you want to snipe or precision kill go with score attack, this ensures that you will get at least 120-125 kills.

Kill stealing is what assists are for. I’d rather get assists than kills. Assists, assist sprees. But what I really hate as well is vehicle betrayal. Either betraying in firefight via vehicles, or blowing up someone elses vehicle. Either ghost, wraith, hog, I don’t care which one I am using, why are people so spiteful? I bet the ones that do it have 0 in their Vehicular Commendation.

I get mad when players blow me up when i am in the ghost on beachhead, or the warthog, for that matter. Its not like i am going to really rack up the kills that way. I almost had a killionare in a ghost and just as i go to hit the last grunt, EJECTED!!! Then i proceeded to kill everything because when you actually play 2,000+ games of firefight you know spawns, counts, and what weapon to use for absolute map control.
Betraying on purpose with vehicles, seriously? Who does that?
But, i digress my rant to tell you that, vehicular on beachhead score attack will get the same results in less time, because you are certain to get 115-125 kills, without headaches. Holy crap! I bet i can do that ghost killionare that way!, see ya!
