Fewer than 3,000 people online?

Okay, it’s late in the afternoon on a work day, but seriously… last I checked, Halo 4 could sustain at least 30,000 people under those circumstances, and nearly twice as much on weekends.

What the hell happened? That last population drop was after the Majestic Map Pack, which was actually really good… now they release this much-anticipated Weapon Tuning, and the population drops AGAIN!?! It doesn’t make any sense… 343i gives the players what they ask, and they leave as soon as they get it.

I’m having trouble finding games without getting forced to accept Join-In-Progress, seeing as most playlists have a population under 100. Which Halo game has the highest population right now, Halo 3 or Halo:Reach? Serious question, no smart-a** comments, please.

The counters are always messing up. If there is less than 5,000 in Big team, theyre probably not correct.

Back up servers.

It’s probably just the backup servers. The population yesterday was around 30,000. It definitely wouldn’t go down that much in one day.

I figured something must be wrong…

EDIT: Just checked the population counter again; we still have 29,000 people. Fix your servers, 343i!

The numbers shown for playlists in-game are wrong so often, I don’t even go by them anymore. Just yesterday the game claimed that there were only SIX people playing in Majestic DLC, yet I got a full game within seconds.
