Few things couldve made Halo 5 play diffrently

Its probably been said, but the idea of having Team, and Fire Team Osiris play differently could’ve been a new dynamic.
Blue Team could’ve had a slower base movement speed, reduced shield strength, but with a higher base health (takes more damage without shields). They could get slight damage boosts for melee, and instead of thrusters they could rely more on evasion like rolls or jukes. And not be able to use ground pound or Spartan charge. Or Spartan charge have different animations without thruster use.

Osiris could have stronger shields, with less base health. Faster base movement and sprint speed. All the Spartan abilities can stay otherwise.

these are just some small differences that could’ve added a different dynamic to gameplay.

I don’t know, usually differing playing styles don’t sit well with people. This idea has been brought up for multiplayer as well where if you pick a Spartan II you don’t have sprint, abilities ect ect while if you pick a IV you do carry them. It requires people to them remember the differing styles and you’re playing vs them different ways to. That’s multiplayer tho. Campaign I’m sure it could maybe be given a pass on but still think you’ll find some who dislike having to switch between the two. Plus it just gives more fuel for which Spartans are better.
