Hello all,
I have some ideas regarding the Assassinations. Instead of choosing one assassination it’ll be pretty sweet to select a random option that cycles through every assassination you have unlocked. Also adding in Dual Assassinations whenever you and your teammate both melee the same enemy you preform a dual assassination.
Also a concept for a new Assassination:
"Take a Knee" - Steps on the backs of the enemy’s knees and shoots him in the head execution style .
Just a few thoughts
I disabled assassinations as soon as I finished the Comm. people just steal the kill 9/10 times.
I like the random option, but I don’t think the duel assassination would work.
They should take some assassinations from Reach like the one where they stab you in the top of the head with the knife. And also another one form Reach where your Spartan would knock the other Spartan down and jump on his head and crush it, the same way you assassinated an elite in reach.
They should definitely add an “RKO” assassination lol.

I like OPs “take a knee” idea. we have plenty of neck snapping and knife through the face assassinations. I think it would be pretty epic to have an execution style one.
just picture it… you come up behind them and take out their knee and your Spartan pulls out his pistol and let’s go one clean round right to the back of the head. brav plz lol
Although I like the knife assassinations I’d prefer there to be more assassinations that didn’t use a combat knife. 343 could use Wrestling and karate for inspiration.
I think a Belly-flop assassination would be hilarious to watch.
I would also love for there to be bayonet assassinations for Warzone.
I think that random assassinations would be really cool.
Gives you some more variety
I wouldn’t mind one where you curb stomp your enemy. Yeah yeah I know, Gears of War has the monopoly on shooter curb-stomping, but come on…1000 pound super soldier boots.

Definitely would love to see that! I imagine something similar to the Retro Lancer execution from Gears 3.

I second this. Before I had suggested to my brother that we should be able to choose three assassinations, but your idea is definitely better than mine!

Bayonet assassinations would make Warzone perfect for me.

See a bayonet assassination is too much like Gears it’s bad enough that Halo is becoming close to COD. I would prefer to see Halo stay as close to Halo as possible. 11 days have passed since I’ve posted this. I’ve had a lot to think about new Assassinations like:
Breath Taking: trips your opponent and crushes their chest. “I’ll take your breath away.”
Keep your Balance: Kicks their knees inward and shoots them in the head. “Try not to fall.” (I’m kinda iffy with this one)
Use Your Head: You headbutt your opponent. “Let’s combined our thoughts.”
Definitely like the random option…
How about a Pile Driver (like the wrestling move where you grab & invert your opponent before ramming their head straight down onto the floor, snapping their neck)
Remember, if you don’t spot me behind you “stop stabbing yourself!” (I almost wet my pants laughing when I unlocked that one!)
This is a good idea.
What if you only have a sword and hammer where did the gun come from, also would the assassination medal and killfeed icon be different since it didn’t use a knife

the assiassination medal would remain the same because it’s the assassination medal… it doesn’t change when you snap their neck or John cena their face into the ground… so I don’t think a pistol execution would need it’s own medal or need any change to the current assassination medal.
as as far as what your weapons have, it wouldn’t matter. to the best of my knowledge not every set of Spartan armor shows a field knife, yet when you assassinate someone, there it is. lol
