Not gonna happen. 343 is dedicated to ensuring a polished, finished product. A public beta takes time out of development and can achieve the same or similar results with internal testing

1-50 had so many issue and should not return. There’s a reason Halo 3 was the last game to use it and why no developer uses visible trueskill. And so long as skill rating is linked to wins/loses, boosting rank will always be possible. In the original Arena, based on individual player performance, it was impossible to boost rank.
Also, cheaters are already banned with high frequency.
