Will she be forced to have an -Yoink!-? Give up the child to another person? Will the child be raised in her footsteps in some kind of program?..Maybe maternity leave?
Because after all, they gotta take off that armor sometime, and we’re all human so relationships can emerge.
Even if there’s only a very small chance it could happen, a least there is that chance.
Yo, is this part of your Madsen X Grant fanfiction?
I dunno, what do servicewomen do if they get pregnant while serving?
I’m pretty sure it’s not exactly encouraged to even have -Yoink!- while on active duty. I’m betting even a normal soldier would be heavily scolded for becoming pregnant while on tour. A SPARTAN wouldn’t even have a vague notion to do such a thing, even the IV’s I bet.
There was female spartan that “retired to have a family.”
Maria-062.
Im sure if you looked into how they handle something like that in a current military environment youll have your answer.
I doubt anything as immoral as forced abortions would be the proceedure though. Consider that the people involved in the ORION project had kids that inherited some of their enhancements, a full fledged Spartan having a child wouldnt be something to get rid of.
@Madman: I wonder if Johnson had any kids from that naughty Contact Harvest chapter…
About the OP: SIIs have their sexual drive dead thanks to the augmentations. I surely wouldn’t want to be a SII for that. I supposed some SIIs had the same fate, and likely the SIVs do not. Remember DeMarco flirting?

Repressed, not removed. Meaning they don’t toss the mission for a pretty face.

False. The repressed (note, that does not even mean anything close to removed or gone, it just means there is less of one than on a normal person, now some could have had it repressed all the way into non-existence, but I don’t think it likely) -Yoink!--drive was only a potential side affect, meaning it could happen, but there was also the chance that it wouldn’t happen at all either. Repressed does not mean the same thing as removed or non-existent. We’ve seen some IIs that either have perfectly healthy -Yoink!--drives, or close enough to it, as two members of Black Team were involved with each other at one point, and a third member of the team got jealous. And then there’s Maria, who expressed interest in starting up a family.

Ah spoiler… I have not read that story yet. I guess we learn somithing new everyday.
BTW, quoting the entire post and saying false made it sound like everything I had said waa wrong. That made me panic lol.
It’s in The Fall of Reach. 12 years have passed since it was published; it’s no longer considered “spoiler” material.

Take it easy. I was just saying I got spoiled…
Spartan IVs probably have good enough self-control not to get pregnant or even engage in sexual activity when they are stationed in any part of the galaxy. If it does happen, they will probably have the choice to withdraw, or get an -Yoink!-. As for IIs and IIIs, their augmentations rendered their reproductive abilities defective.
