Female Spartan model

It was confirmed, right?
Anyway. In case it was.
What do you hope it to be like? the gender Neutral of Halo 3 or the over-the-top gender discrepancies of Halo: Reach?
I’m hoping a little of both, nothing too curvy, just something to help differentiate.
mostly because I’m sick off all the screenshots of Spartan cheek, though.

Yes females are back.

They look to be slimmer than reach’s version  I myself never liked the standard male body with girl voice. But I didn’t like Reach’s girls either.

4’s got it right. Nice and slim with no OTT dat -Yoink-.

They were perfect in Reach. Have them the same as Reach’s.

It needs to be corrected still, IMO. Female Spartans are roughly the same size, depending on their role. Kelly was slim and tall but Linda was almost the size of John. Arianna (Cole Protocol) was huge, as Delgado noted, the same size as Mike and just as muscular. Although she was an S-II, I still think the the male’s and female’s should only vary at the waist and bust.

Is there an image of this? I need it for Ahem research.
No really though. I want to see for myself.

Kind of small if you ask me.

Menu pic of female spartan

If we were playing as SIIs then I’d want the the same bodies for male and female. Otherwise? Cool, whatever.

I think the whole Spartan III thing for Reach explained the huge differences.
The Genetic augments weren’t as drastic, right? Or did I misread for the thousandth time?
But yeah, a bit of a bulkier female spartan might be more Canon.

The 1st picture is a torso shot, take away the armor pieces on her shoulders and you can see just how skinny they now are.

Second is a little tougher, but if you look at the bum, waist and calves you can tell the red spartan is obviously a female.

The genetic augmentations are what made them so large. Muscle and bone enhancements make them bulky. The S-III’s were wrong, IMO. The females were too shapely, around every angle. Mind you, they looked good, but they were way too figured to be the female Spartan that I’ve come to read about. Linda and Kelly were completely different size-wise.

Quoted for exactly my thoughts.

Well a lot of the Spartans were different in their sizes, Samuel being a head taller than John being the one standing out the most.
Yeah, they were nice to look at, but I guess canonically it left something to be desired, I think I remember a line from Cole Protocol saying they looked like “male bodybuilders”?

There was little difference between male and female S-IIs due to their more extensive augmentations and training. There was more difference between S-IIIs but Reach’s female model was still too curvy. The male model should be bulkier than the female as they tend to be more slender.

That S-IV… disappointing to me.

For the first one, is there a side by side comparison? I’m not familiar with 4’s models yet so I can’t tell.

and with the second one, I think it’s just an optical illusion, as the blue is closer and matches the background.

I liked Reach’s female models. The only problem I had and I hope its fixed for Halo 4, was the armor didn’t scale to the females, it was the same size on them as the males. It resulted in some of the normal armor looking to big on them and the larger armor looking gargantuan.

As I recall, the Spartan-IIIs weren’t as heavily modified as the Spartan-IIs, which could explain the difference. I’m not sure if there’s info out yet about the Spartan-IV augmentations, but if I had to guess, I’d say they’re also less heavily augmented.

I personally did not like the female Spartan Models in Halo Reach. Hopefully, in Halo 4, female Spartans are less stylized and more in line with the picture that’s been painted in the fiction.
