Female spartan model?

Do you think H4 will have a Female Spartan model?

I can assume it will  I hope it does sense they are making armor customization so huge it most likely will or at least I hope it will

Uh I never saw one, but I hope it won’t be size advantage. I don’t see that not happening, so expect to see one in future.

Well looking from the short gameplay clip we didn’t see any female spartans dead or alive.
It’s either they’re not their or they just haven’t played as females for that clip.

I sure hope so!

I’m fine either way. Canonically, all of the Spartans were around the same size in their armor. However, I wouldn’t mind if there was a difference. I mean MJOLNIR has been getting smaller and smaller compared to the bulky armor we’ve seen with Mk.IV.

There really isn’t even a difference between the 2, i mean halo 3’s voices and stuff was a good idea, but reach’s addition was kinda pointless and a wast of effort. I mean they are wearing the same armor. Armor shouldn’t give off either a male or female look because it is armor.

I think it will be and it should. I honestly don’t see any point in getting rid of it now that we have it

And they can’t say it doesn’t match the “Halo experience” xD

Well, the suit contorts to your body. Not to Reach’s extent, but there should be a noticeable difference.

Well we wouldn’t want to make our fellow female gamers feel left out would we?

Plus these are SPARTAN-lV’s not ll’s. There IS a difference.

No one is being left out because armor, a piece of metal, shouldn’t have a gender whether male or female.

Of course the default is going to be male and will be seen as such. Frankly, there should be a SLIGHT difference with the same hitbox.

Ill give a better example, have you played halo wars? Did you know 2 spartans are male and 1 is a female? You wouldn’t be able to tell the difference between them if it wasn’t for their name and voices, i honestly didn’t even know what genders they were till late in the game, that is how it should be. Not male, not female, because at the end of the day they are both wearing the same armor, if i put a bag over your body could i tell what gender you were by simply looking at you? Nope. Same goes for this.

I already made the point that the differences between male and female Spartans was not very noticeable. That said, there were differences with the S-IIIs as we saw and there might be differences with the S-IVs. It wouldn’t hurt to have gender differences, nor would anything be wrong if they weren’t present. However, I feel people deserve a choice. I can go either way, but I don’t get why your so vehemently against it.

Honestly, im not against it, it’s just that why wast so much resources on something that you can’t even see the difference in and will only cause problems?

> Honestly, im not against it, it’s just that why wast so much resources on something that you can’t even see the difference in and will only cause problems?

Why exactly is it wasted effort if it’s planned? And frankly, what problems would it cause? Immaturity? That will be around regardless of gender differences.

It is wasted because you wouldn’t be able to see the difference unless you are in the lobby, and those resources can go towards making more armor/emblems/colors ect that everyone can actually see a difference in. And while immaturity will always be around, why feed it with this when you don’t even need to have a gender for a piece of armor. I can understand if this game had things like faces in multiplayer but again it is just armor and doesn’t have a gender.

People do notice a difference in gender in-game. And you act like working on models means all work on armor and emblems stops. It doesn’t. They have a whole art department dedicated to this. If not, outsource work to Sabre or Certain Affinity.

> And while immaturity will always be around, why feed it with this when you don’t even need to have a gender for a piece of armor.

By that logic, we should cut homosexual relationships from games like Mass effect because it might feed homophobia. All that does is let the jerks win and feel it’s okay to say whatever because, hey, the company bowed to reactions.

> I can understand if this game had things like faces in multiplayer but again it is just armor and doesn’t have a gender.

The gamer does and they should be able to reflect that if they desire.

assuming OP is a girl, let me get that number.

Uh, neither sabre or certain affinity would do any type of work like that… And you can’t honestly tell me that the one inch decrees in your waist is actually noticeable. And when you are working on one thing obviously you aren’t working on something else.

You completely took my logic and slaughtered it. First off if that were the case you would remove all types of sexual relations, not one. Second they have faces!! A piece of armor isn’t human, a face is. Last but not least this isn’t a story, it is multiplayer.

So you are saying when you turn on the female gender their faces are now seeable through the game? And again you can’t even see the difference.
