After the Locke Ad when it had the little pic of Master Chief, I knew their would be a second trailer from Chief’s perspective.
I knew they’d do the symbolic trading places, and different tones, and monologues.
I knew it…
And yet, when I watched the Chief version, then went back to Locke’s, and continued this about ten more times… I came to a conclusion.
Halo 5 is already my favorite Halo game ever… Of all time!
I loved the Beta, and I love where the story is going.
But oh my God… These Trailers…
This is why I’ll always see games as the best form of entertainment.
This game is going to be incredible.
It’s a good year to be a Halo fan.

While I think this is partially true, I also think that he was trying to convey a more professional tone in the Halo cutscenes, and in the new trailers he is showing actual emotions to what has happened.
With that being said, I am also very excited for the direction Halo is headed, these trailers are absolutely fantastic and really get the viewer thinking on what they could possibly mean. i honestly can’t wait to see whats to come and to play the game!
When I watch a trailer for a halo Trailer it is usually epic leaving me with chills and nerdgasms. Never has a Halo Trailer left me speechless and unnerved… You See the Master Chief in that… State, with Locke accusing of being humanity’s threat. The Master Chief Like this. It hurts. This is something that I haven’t felt from a Halo Game.

That’s a good point. I wasn’t trying to say his acting was bad, I just noticed a big difference in what I saw in Nightfall and what I heard in H2A. And those are two very different types of performances … sometimes it’s tricky to cross-over. The Simpsons is a good place to find examples of that; when they get a famous actor to do voice over work and it sounds kinda forced or less-than-believable.

I’m getting the MCC Xbone and the Limited edition. Looking forward to the game. Going to be one of the best!

Exactly… 343i really delivered with H4… and I really think that was just the beginning!
Lore has never been such an important aspect for any Halo game before - can’t -Yoinking!- wait!

I agree with you. He definitely sounds like a more determined, ominous agent now.
