“Incineration Cannon, the gametype.”
Seriously, I just played an unbelievably stupid game of “feista” on Solace. This dude got incin. cannon and racked up 21 kills, easily.
He just jetpacked around and blasted everybody. And of course, he had promethean vision, like an -Yoink-. I mean c’mon, no radar but custom loadouts allowed? DERP.
It boils down to this:
Do you have jetpack?
Yes
Do you have PV?
Yes
Do you have Incin. Cannon?
Yes
YOU WIN!
Umm… you can’t have jetpack and PV at the same time.
How’d he have jetpack and promethean vision?
I would have -Yoink- that the guy was rocking Jet Pack and Pro Vision at the same time.
No no, I didnt mean at the same time. Just that either ability really helps.
I think he was switching between loadouts mid-game.
It’s funny, because when I said that the Binary Rifle and Incineration Cannon shouldn’t be in Halo 4 match-making people ridiculed me, and told me to “adapt” or that I was “butthurt”.
Now people are complaining about the same weapons in a supposedly fun, casual game-type.
I knew what I was saying.
if they fixed fiesta to be the halo 3 version it would be fine. random weapons off spawn instead of ordnance choices, and just barebones with no armor abilities, tac packages, or support packages

There’s nothing wrong with the weapons themselves; it’s the frequency at which you get them in fiesta thats the problem.
So you’re still wrong on that.

1 shot sniper and a double splash rocket makes good fun?
lel.

A 1 shot sniper that has a slow rate of fire, needs to reload after 2 shots, appears rarely in ordnance, and has a giant “HEY LOOK AT ME IM SNIPING” laser when scoped.
No issues with the Incin. Cannon either, as it needs to reload after each shot, and if you’re too close to your target, you could easily kill yourself with it.
I think the real problem here is that 1 guy was able to dominate you in a gametype where you spawn with power weapons, just like the one he has.
And then you felt the need to rage on the forums.
You had the same exact tools available to you. He was more skilled, so he won. Don’t complain to us when you lose.

Way to miss the point by entire -Yoinking!- miles.
Ignoring the fact (that should be obvious to everyone) that Feista is no longer really about random weapons but a set group of weapons, the frequency at which you receive rocket/sniper weapons, especially the incin. cannon, is ridiculous.
Do you disagree, then, that feista should be about spawning with completely random weapons and not from a select pool of power weapons?
Or are you totally on board with “Incineration Cannon the gametype?”
=/
I think Infinity Siesta sounds better.
EDIT: Aww -Yoink- I take it back.
it should be renamed to “343 in a nutshell”
343i- fixing things that aren’t broken since halo 4.
