So I’ve noticed that a lot of people are asking for static timers in arena on the weapons. Most notable the second tier weapons. I’ve been able to manipulate the shotty and sword for constant usage in games. For those who don’t know, second tier weapons spawn as soon as they are depleted (as long as no one is camping their spawn) and I can see how that creates disadvantage for players who don’t know this. I can use the shotgun, deplete it’s mag, toss it for a temp weapon, sprint to its spawn and instantly regain it for another mag of kills. For players who don’t know this they will constantly be checking an empty weapon spawn wondering why I’ve had it the entire game and they can’t nab it’s spawn.
Now if timers were static that still doesn’t change the fact that players can memorise the spawns but it would still give a fair advantage for Unexperienced players. For example. I could hold shotgun, deplete it, note it’s spawn time but if I get in a firefight on the way or I get held up somehow that gives another player the fair chance to receive it rather than me doing the deplete, repeat tactic.
Sooooooo now that I’ve given brief explanations of each side and examples. What are all of your guys’ opinions? Do you agree with the deplete, repeat style respawns? Or should it be moved over to static respawns.
And any opinions on tier 1 weapon respawns??
Well I had no idea. Thanks for the info! IMO it’s fine as is. It adds to the gameplay tactics. Now that I know I’ll definitely try to either use it to my sdvantage, or stop someone from constantly trying to acquire them over and over.
I feel that the reason they probably set the respawn the way they do was probably to keep there from being two of them on the map, but I’ve yet to really see someone use that strategy that your talking about, but I do see that it can be exploited to do that, so I agree with you, static timers would be better.
Interesting, i also didnt know that about the second tier weapon spawns but I get your point. I think the inexperienced players would still be at a disadvantage either way. I think its fine how they are now. However, I would be interested to see if they did change to static spawns would the inexperienced players notice and would it really affect their play.

Yeah I guess you’re right about there being two on map, but third tier already do that so What’d be any different if second tier did. I come across multiple fuel rods on map all the time.
Like maybe if they combined the two it would make it more fair. It would make it less predictable and give everyone a chance.
Like maybe once the weapon is depleted then maybe a 1 min timer starts off until next spawn.
