I pre-ordered the Limited Edition of H4 because I wanted the special features and didn’t mind paying the extra money for it. But now, everything that I paid money for is being given away for free to pretty much everyone who bought the regular edition.
So you’re telling me that I spent the extra $40 for nothing? I paid and extra $40 to get what every other person paid $59.99 for? Congrats for the people who didn’t pay extra; they must be excited to get this reward. But what do I get? nothing.
I think this is a garbage move by 343 and Microsoft and it makes me seriously consider whether or not I spend the extra money for Halo/343 limited editions in the future. There should be a class action lawsuit against them for this.
I don’t recall getting any of the Prime skins. Having the choice of NOT waiting for a damn code (some players still haven’t gotten them) and having to work on only 2 specs for the 70 level cap. Oh, the briefing packet, Steel cover case, FuD bonuses etc.
There are some positives for going with the LE compared to the SE. You can drop the whole class action lawsuit garbage though. Not only does it make you sound immature, the chances of you winning are slim at best and impractical at worst.
You get PLENTY that people who didn’t buy the LE don’t and will never get.
Specs were always “Early access” for LE owners, and you got early access. The Crimson DLC debacle is a flub up. MS messed up putting it up on Live, and will be revoking the license of everyone who downloaded it for free (Map Pass owners will be unaffected) after the 18th. $25 of that $40 was for the map pass, so there’s that.
Also, according to the ToS you agree to by having an xbox live gold account, you can not file a class action lawsuit. That’s why you should pay attention to what terms and conditions you agree to.
You can try it, but whoever you hire as a lawyer will look over the ToS, then kick you out for being dumb.

I’m not sure but doesn’t a contract become unbinding if it includes clauses such as, you can sue me no matter what?
just to clarify as I am downloading the crimson map pack as we speak, I bought the LE with all the DLC, this includes the map pass? I won’t be affected from using the crimson maps once the “trial run” is over?
