I’m torn but I feel I need to express my love hate for this game.
I’m a huge halo fan playing since the start of all and have always enjoyed the multiplayers in all of the series many ups and downs.
But with halo infinite I often find myself frustrated and annoyed, struggling to find any sort of fun in this hyper competitive game.
The latency/desync issues really start it off for me when I hop on to play a game or attempt one of the stupid challenges that force you to play a dead playlist I’m instantly bored or angry with how poor the networking is making it unplayable.
I really want to play Halo Infinite as it’s gameplay and sandbox no matter how little can be one of the best since 3. There is just so many issues not stop it from getting there.
Halo MCC is always there for now atleast but without any new content added it won’t be forever. I really hope 343 can turn this game around for me and others who experience some of the same frustrations as me from the networking, crappy challenge/battlepass systems, poor customisation and general lack of content.
I love the halo series and do not want to see it die as it’s the only gaming franchise I have ever continually stuck with and supported.
Can I say I’ve had nothing but network issues and de-sync issues as well ever since the start of Season 2, I think overall 343i are out of their depth.
I’ve reported this a couple of weeks back and one of their scapegoat “agents” who seem to interact more with the player base what with issues of the game and it was stated they have no work-around or idea of how to fix it at this time but the devs are aware but I can’t see this being fixed anytime soon.
There will always be network and gameplay glitches, nothing perfect, but this game is in a league of its own, there should an award for the most glitchy game. Some games have major problems, a bit of this a bit of that, but Halo Infinite has it all, other games that have this many problems … slowly die. 343 needs to take this game offline for 6 months and rework it.
Yeah i feel there needs to be a greater emphasis on social modes and social community play. The release of forge may help boost this I just hope it’s soon.
I just really wished they made pre and post game lobbies return. With map voting system, and with a little bit extended timer in post game lobby so people have time to chat about the match.
I miss the social aspect of Halo that Halo 3 and Reach nailed.
