Does anyone else feel like they are just doing worse than they use to?
I feel like it keeps getting harder for me to aim or something.
I have some days where I feel like I have molasses on my thumbsticks, but in general I know my skill is decreasing because I play less now.
I feel the rust creeping in.
Have we played each other, i play focused EU. Think ive seen you around. on this account or with s nine seconds tag.
I feel the same, and have a hard time aiming last week, aim assist is on/off never feels the same. sure some games are good but most are just rubbish because of what feels like latency. Its a server thing is my guess.

Probably i search in Balanced. The search preference might not even make a difference. It doesn’t feel like it.
Honestly my advice is just to take a break from the game, go play something that isn’t a shooter.
Yea I’ll go through waves. Generally if I have a run of bad games I’ll take a break for a day or two and then hit it again. A lot of it is mental imo
Well there’s that supposed aiming issue that is influenced by your connection to the server… Some games it’s like your aim is super on and twitchy, and others it feels heavy and squirrely… as if there’s some type of input lag going on. You can be warm and playing well for an hour and it’s like all of the sudden you can’t hit anything.
Maybe it’s all in everyone’s head, but pros have even commented on this saying it’s a legit thing, and I’ve seen several others talking about it here as well… Note that this is separate from 343’s aim design for the game, and the sensitivity/acceleration mechanic that Ghost talked about around H5’s launch.
When I am tense, sweaty, and pushing really hard, I do worse. I have to walk away for a little while to calm down. When I come back, more relaxed, I do much better.
my right thumbstick broke so its always hard for me
I ended up having to find a mode I was confident in. Took some searching but I finally landed on Breakout. I’ve made significant progress in it. Always positive K/D. I used to play the crap out of SWAT. I USED TO BE good. Head shots all day. In H5 I’m average or below in SWAT. I’m even worse when it comes to Slayer now. I was freaking awesome in H3. Now I am garbage. Couldn’t progress and adapt to save my life. Literally.
My suggestion is look for something you are good at and stick with that. It’ll keep the game fun for you. Sure, I’ll go play those other modes that I’m not great at from time to time just to change it up but I always come back to Breakout or Action Sack. I enjoy Objective games more than I used to since it gives me options beyond just killing.
