Yes. Especially this DOOM Guy armor https://assets.vg247.com/current//2020/03/doom_etenral_unicorn.jpg
or even this one https://i.ytimg.com/vi/Wc_tvNgaS_4/maxresdefault.jpg
Speaking of doom. I love how that community does not even make a peep about stuff like this. Meanwhile some Halo players are in full “REEEE” mode.
And as for “canonnality”, they could very well just act like headphones in real life. Like how instead of using speakers (which loses some sound), you use headphones.
Trying to say i am overly sensitive after saying that people with differing opinions need to be quiet is quite hilarious. This is the problem with people who don’t care about the artistic integrity/cohesiveness. Many people liked the Halo art style and thats part of what sold them on the game. Graphics are nkt everything but if your game is based in a world that world needs to make sense. Some of the goofy stuff we have now just doesn’t belong.
In no way did i call for them to delete anything you liked. All i am asking for is a way to preserve part of what made me love Halo. Also not sure why you told me when you got into Halo. I never said it was newer people who wanted to change the Halo art style. What does happen is when mass appeal is tried it does bring in newer people and now what was a vast minority of people who don’t care for the art style might increase. If that was the argument I would have said i have been here since the first Christmas since CE launched.
Again the only reason it seems people want these armors is to crap on people who want/like the consistent Halo art style that Bungie set up and is now back in Infinite.
If the only joy you get out of wearing armor is knowing other people have the cohesive art style they loved is tainted then that is pretty sad.
These things exist because 343 knows that so many little attention seekers get off at the thought of people looking at them. It’ll stick, even if it makes Halo look like a dress up simulator.
At the very least I would like a toggle for the kill effects. That skull and wolf howl are so visually obnoxious, I don’t know what they were thinking with those.
They could, and I’d be fine with that. I personally don’t care over all though. Little itty bitty cosmetics won’t hurt me or dampen my enjoyment of the game if they’re on or off personally. But some might like it nice.
Probably because such an option would hurt their wallet I guess. Since seeing people see them during streams or youtube video’s is free advertisements for said cosmetics. Which could draw people into purchasing it themselves if they were unaware.
Everyone gets to see everything, or everyone gets stuck the default Mark VII armor with default color options for Visor and Armor. Lol

That’s a terrible idea. That, makes the toggle pointless.
Yes, all the fans who love and enjoy halo’s art style don’t get to enjoy any of the various canon editions that they want to see. Like Mark VI helmets or the Mrk V core.
Oh yea, that’s a TERRIBLE idea. Arguing for that is just arguing disingenuously to render the toggle pointless.
Although my initial response was more of a joke, there is a little truth to it. You wanted the goofy armors removed, and since everyone has a different opinion on what is considered goofy. Just take away all the options except for the defaults.
Treat it like Halo CE, where everyone was master chief and all you could do is pick the color of your armor.
Like I said, that would be the best way to make people who don’t like “silly” cosmetics happy. Remove all of them completely. Otherwise people who use the filter will complain, “Why is M199X removed from my choices!” or “How come I can’t chose between any visor on Mk. V [B}? 343 sux!!!”.
