Ok, so the battlepass is whatever. like genuinely i dont care that there is a battlepass nor do i care about how much it costs. the issue and problem is this. Call of duty modern warfare the most recent one, not the remaster, has a battlepass. however they also have customization and other things you can earn outside of the battlepass. of all the modern games you could do worse then, when implementing something they also implemented, this is the worst. there needs to be some customization we can earn outside of the battlepass. there needs to be that engagement for free players if you want to truly appeal to them otherwise you just look greedy and the game will die. moving on, the premium shop. thats fine. dont care, but anthem the worst game released in the modern era and failed immediately after launch had a shop just like the halo one. it was bad. you should have a catalogue that we can purchase from that is more then 10 items long. it will appeal more widely in a range at the least. splitgate does this. its bad there too.
In summary, Battlepass is bad by itself as a progression system and it always has been and always will be.
the premium store is bad because its exceptionally poorly done and copy and pasted from literally one of the worst games ever made.
