So I came across the MCC feedback club…
I don’t have much to do these days and figured I could take time to do surveys and give reviews for Halo (since im over 18, played Halo since 2001 and indeed love to share my experiences and aid 343 or a member in fixing Halo or testing things).
Little did I know… Australians can’t sign up? Not even one of the biggest regions on Earth? (Asia)
Why is this?
Will Asia/Australia have access to this one day? If 343 welcomes assistance from a gamer, why not actually allow ‘gamers’ to sign up?
I mean, couldn’t I just say I’m American or part of the European Union and get away with it anyway? Curious…
(If you are going to respond to this thread, please avoid racist remarks and hints of discrimination, we all see what happens in the MCC forum when people’s trees are rustled…)
More than likely it’s legal issues relating to the laws of each country that’s stopped it from rolling out worldwide. Some countries, Germany for example (I use them a lot beecuase I deal with privacy / data protection stuff sometimes) have very strict laws around data protection and how data is stored / used. Either they’ll work things out over time, or they’ll keep to the areas they can guarantee they can do it without issue. Sucks I know, but that’s how it goes sometimes.
And by sucks I mean I have spent almost a month recently just trying to get a simple event invitation sorted out - this only asked if people wanted to attand some event. Now imagine the MCC feedback surveys… I don’t eny whoever is in chanrge of those
Damn, I was really looking forward to joining the program. 343 should just have applications for gamers and we must consent to terms no matter what privacy things are in place (I personally couldn’t care less about my gaming being monitored).
I see now, thanks for your input Mr Stckrboy.
