Feedback on thr campaign gameplay

So far i thoroughly enjoy the campaign and open world. Love loading up a warthog with marines and wrecking stuff up.
However i have some hopefully constructive feedback.

  • Marines, i really like bringing them along and attacking bases or just driving around doing drive by shooting. But they have some limitations:
  • when leaving the a warthog I wished the guy on the turret stayed in the turret, at least when your in the proximity, providing coverfire. And i wished they in general tried to utilise turrets on the ground and veichles.
  • make them able to use veichles by themselves, at least warthogs and mongooses to follow you. You find a lot of marines around and they can follow you and make a pretty big squad but if you want to drive you have to leave the rest after filling the warthog. Wished they were smart enough to use nearby veichles to follow you, would make a lot of fun situations as well.
  • a solution to make this optional would be a command button. Point on a warthog and push and the closest marines mount it. Same with turrets and weapons.

Visuals and sound:

  • the explosions, when i discovered Halo with Halo 3 some of the most fun was when stuff exploded. The explosions were magnificent. They are not in Infinite, especially the Phantoms. They just sorta disappears, it looks like they are glitching away with just some smokes and fumes left. And i cant remember any cool explotions except for maybe the fuel tanks. Would love if you find your inner Michael Bay and make explotions great again. More ompf and fire.
  • sounds, are okay but thats it. The game would benefit from more angry weapons fire with more snap and harder hitting sounds. Now they almost sound muted and soft? I have a decent headset on, but I dont really know if the experience is better with proper speakers and a subwoofer.

Coop:

  • i reaaally hope you deliver on coop, the world is perfect for it and can easily fit 4 players. We are some friends itching to try it out.

Just some thoughts i had, i really like the game and wish for it to be even better.

not that problem again thats something most people never wane see return in halo infinite since its the worst thing ever there have done in old halo game’s.
the reason its the worst thing is since halo reach campaign you can ever do.
marines or any type friendly AI most never drive the vehicles any more and there most keep it like that.
if you look on youtube more how worse the AI’s are when there drive any type vehicles in the halo game’s.
in halo reach campaign it was more a hell since the AI spartans are the worst one’s there is a reason people not like it any more since if you look on halo reach how worse Kat drive’s.
same with halo 5 was it more.

for vehicles like the warthog,razoback,mongooses and scorpoin tank gunner is it a good thing more to have something like that.

for all there are some good points in it and for one i hope its not coming back any more since its more a big problem it become’s.

Weren’t aware of AI driving was an old Issue for that many. It would of course have to be implemented in a solid and not half -Yoink!- way.

But i can see a lot of potential problems with all the rocks, cliffs and hills to get stuck on so the frustrations might not be worth it. Or the work to a make it good is too much for such a minor asset.

But i went from a fresh campaign gaming session and that was one of the thing i missed.

I was playing Combat Evolved Anniversary the other night and even that game which is from 2011 often has better explosion effects and smoothness of the Banshee and vehicle pathing than Infinite often does

Infinite needs a High Rez effects update

in halo reach more on the mission Tip of the Spear.
you can destroy the first AA gun with the rocket warthog from a long range more.
but if the friendly AI steals your rocket warthog always when you can destroy the first AA gun from a long range then its no fun.
when there drive always the vehicles are always destory by the enemy vehicles fast.

same in halo 3 there are worse.

and sadly halo infinite campaign has showing all that the enemy AI’s are sometime’s the worst driver’s in a Ghost more.

i know some people wane see it again but there are some players like me that have see the worst experience with it and there not wane see it happing again.
let then do the shooting work its much better for the friendly AI’s then let then drive.
