Visibility on enemy players is poor, shields should be yellow or customizable and unaffected by the outline color.
Base movement speed is a bit fast, maybe slow it down a bit or increase sprint speed just slightly.
Aim felt floaty sometimes.
Somway to set the zoom sensitivity to be exactly the same as hipfire. Annoying to have to experiment to find the right sens but individual sliders should still be there.
Now the weapons. I like that they are projectile based and not hitscan. Also, headshot damage multipliers for every weapon is good, it rewards good aim as long as aim assist and magnetism is minimal or preferably, non-existant.
Now, this is the most enjoyable AR yet, Sounds great, not overly meaty like 4 and 5. The only change I’d like is the removal of the random strong kick in favor of slightly higher recoil to promote burst firing over spraying as I found it harder to counter in a burst than spray as it only happens once per trigger pull. I’d hate if it got changed because people can’t let halo 3 go (It hasn’t aged well gameplay wise) or feel like “ThE Ar ShOuLd OnLy bE cQc wAaAH!” or think that as a starting weapon it should be weak since it’s supposed to be replaced. It’s the best one yet. Please don’t listen to those idiots.
Initially I felt like the BR might need an increase in firerate, but after playing for a bit it felt like a design decision to make it less viable up close so I am fine with it.
The Commando, I don’t really understand it’s niche as an inbetween for the AR and BR. There’s no need for it, an SMG or equivalent for CQB would fit in better in Infinites sandbox imo. That being unlikely, the commando was less enjoyable in arena than Drills mostly due to recoil so maybe a slight reduction there? Might just not be my cup of tea. Zoom is too high, I’d say max 2x or a switch with the BR making it 3x and the commando 2.5x.
Rocket launcher, Skewer, Ravager was fine. Maybe slightly higher damage on ravager and projectile speed on Rocket launcher.
Needler might need a slight buff in projectile speed.
The sidekick felt a little weak, so maybe buff the mag size or damage a bit, just not to CE or 5 levels.
Pulse Carbine should be reworked, dropped shields from one burst is dumb so maybe lower damage and increase projectile speed?
Sniper Rifle needs the trigger pull delay removed, it’s foul. Shouldn’t exist on any weapon ever. I’d also like to see zoom levels changed , say 3x-8x or 3x-10x. 5x is way too high for these tight maps and noscopes are hard due to trigger delay. (I have 8k hours of cs, I can aim). I would’ve preferred the Halo 3 sniper model to be the base for the new design instead of 5, but it’s fine.
I really disliked the bulldog, the tracers were really distracting and it just felt weak overall. A new take on CE’s shotgun would probably have fit in better with the TTK.
Plasma pistol was fine, except for the god-awful H5 design.
Heatwave was cool, liked it alot.
